Mika’s latest run in Groesbeck. She did improve her time again, not by much, but it was faster and we got by the first a little which did cost some time so I’m going to say she was definitely moving a little faster. 💨 😆

Mika didn’t get to run at the Xtreme race, but we were able to get to a jackpot in Kosse to get another run under her belt. 💙 Wasn’t quite as smooth as her normal cruise through, but for another new arena she handled it pretty well. As of now she seems to be enjoying barrels, hopefully, we can just convince her to add another gear ⚙️ or two 🤣 so that our goal next year can be to enter the big races! 💨

Cherry 🍒 had a pretty, smooth run in the first performance of the Xtreme Barrel Race! 🤍 She won the 2D Prime sidepot bringing home some money. 💰 This is my favorite race of the year, and I would say it is Cherry’s, too❣️

Mika’s exhibition tonight - her very first time in the show barn at the Extraco Events Center! She was so brave and keeps gaining confidence. 💙
Maybe by the next one here she’ll be ready to enter!

Mika putting her big👖on and running in the open tonight! Unfortunately, no more novice classes for us so we had to enter the open. 💪🏻 Her first run in a different arena, too! She’s handling it all great.👏🏻 She ended up 9th in the 5D, just one second from placing so I was very happy with her first big girl run. 💙 We’ll just keep plugging away!

My baby horse being a big girl on her BIRTHDAY!! Storm ⛈️ is *three* today!! 🎉
She’s working so hard in kindergarten, even learning today to go in a tiedown in case she ever needs it during her barrel racing career. DC Performance Horses has done such a great job starting her, but she’ll be back home in one week, and I cannot wait to swing a leg over her and start her barrel training! 🙌🏻
