Campfire with the horses Dec. 24, 2022

Remembering Big Mack this week. In honor of Mack please share your thoughts and anything else about him.

Friday, June 26, 2026 will be one year since I hugged this sweet boy. Saying that puts a pit in my stomach but he's a memory I will always cherish.

This Friday from 7:00pm-8:30pm we will be on the "34" acres if anyone would like to come meet Mack's herd.

Peaceful view. We are still meeting and interviewing people to work with the horses. We also have some people coming out to meet horses tomorrow to possibly adopt. Prayers for the best employees to help care for the horses and best homes for the ones that get adopted. We will do our best to go live tomorrow. We have had someone to interview at every feeding.

We had hooves trimmed Wednesday. Total was $395/$55 each. We still need to get many more hooves trimmed. We still are not getting close to covering horses needs. We are so thankful and appreciate everyone who has monthly donations set up. Thank you! You are a blessing. We would be blessed with any and every monthly commitment. Not many horses have monthly sponsors. If you do sponsor a horse below can you comment below.

I'm sorry to repeat myself but over the next 6 months we know major changes will have to take place. No one wants old horses. When I do get inquires about adopting no one follows through.

This coming Friday will be one year since Big Mack passed. To honor him we will keep trying to raise money to care for his herd.

We took Buddy to PetSmart today. I prayed all the way to the store because I want him to have his own family. He truly is the sweetest dog.

I told Buddy we were heading to PetSmart to try and find him his own family. He was so excited to meet everyone as if he had understood what I said, lol.

We came so close to getting him a new mom but we were a day late. They got a new dog yesterday.

Then he came close to getting a new mom and dad but they are in the middle of traveling across country. The gentleman walked up and said hey Buddy! I said you're the one. You called him by name, lol. They were sweet and spent time with him. When they walked out of PetSmart he was trying so hard to follow them.

He was sad he didn't get his own family today so we let him pick out a new toy and he got a treat plus a pup cup!
