Happy Mother’s Day to the incredible moms of Firefly Equestrian! 💐🐴

There’s something really special about horse moms. You somehow juggle careers, carpools, school pickups, muddy boots, horse hair, busy schedules, surprise rainstorms, and somehow still make it to the barn with snacks in hand and a smile on your face. ✨

What’s even more beautiful is watching so many of you choose this journey not only for your children, but for yourselves too. Some of you are raising brave little riders while others are rediscovering your own confidence, passion, and joy in the saddle after years of putting everyone else first.

Horses have a way of teaching all of us something important: resilience, patience, courage, connection, and how to keep showing up even when things feel hard. And the truth is, our riders learn so much of that from watching YOU.

Thank you for showing your children what commitment looks like. Thank you for showing up through the chaos of everyday life. Thank you for trusting us with your horses, your riders, and your hearts.

We truly have the most amazing barn moms, and Firefly Equestrian is better because of every single one of you. ✨💕

✨ Meet ✨

Some people walk into your barn and just raise the standard. Jadora is one of those people.

From Kyle, Texas, Jadora has been riding on and off since she was little, but what stands out most is her heart. She genuinely loves feeding and caring for the horses here at Firefly, and it shows in everything she does.

She is the kind of person who quietly keeps everything running. Always stepping in. Always helping. Always putting the horses first.

And here is what makes her story even more special.

We hired Jadora knowing her next chapter was already calling.

On May 26, she ships out to Camp Pendleton to join the United States Marine Corps as a General Engineer 🇺🇸

And in true Jadora fashion, she is doing life in a big way. She turns 21 on May 10 and celebrates one year of marriage the very same day.

She is building something meaningful now, gaining experience with a dream of owning her own barn or ranch one day. We have no doubt she will make that happen.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had this season with her. She has made a lasting mark on our horses, our team, and our community.

Be sure to give Jadora some love when you see her around the barn these next few weeks ✨

✨ Where It All Began… Begins Again.
Kentchurch Chime Legacy - Now at Firefly Equestrian. ✨

It’s with a bursting heart of joy that we are so excited to share…
we are the proud owners of Madoc Belle. 🥹💛

Madoc is where our story began.
Firefly Equestrian owners, Sarah and April, grew up riding at Madoc Farms - learning horsemanship, discipline, and what true quality feels like.

Over the years, we were lucky enough to own and love several Kentchurch Chime children who shaped us as riders and horsewomen.

And Madoc Belle…
She was born there too.

A Kentchurch Chime daughter, she carries the very same roots that shaped us.

Since her early days, she has been beautifully produced in Canada with and later in New York with - where she most recently stood atop the mountains of upstate New York.

And from there… over 1,700 miles trailered, we brought her home.

All the way to Austin, Texas.
To Firefly Equestrian.
To us.

To welcome Belle into our program feels incredibly full circle.
She represents our roots, our standards, and the kind of quality we are committed to building around.

Some horses are special.
Some are heritage.

This one is both.

✨ Welcome Rommina & Revel HC ✨

We are beyond excited to officially welcome Rommina and her incredible partner, Revel HC, to the Firefly family! 🤍🐴

Revel HC is a stunning 10-year-old Iberian Warmblood (Andalusian x KWPN) standing proudly at 17hh. Bred in Mexico through Rommina’s own breeding program, he has been hers since he was just a baby and together they’ve traveled all over the country competing and growing as a team.

And not just competing but excelling.

Rommina and Revel are 🏆 USEF Horse of the Year 🏆🔝winners and accomplished competitors, bringing both talent and experience to our barn community. Their dedication to thoughtful training and high standards is something we deeply admire.

While they mainly play in the jumping world, Revel’s roots reflect something even more special. Rommina works with and manages a breeding operation just south of Arizona in Sonora, Mexico 🇲🇽 through Their program focuses primarily on developing high-quality dressage horses, while also exploring western, jumping, and eventing. Each horse is carefully developed and competed until they find their perfect home. 💖

We love welcoming horsewomen who bring both heart and horsemanship to the barn and we’re so excited to have this accomplished and inspiring pair join our community.

🌟 Welcome Aimee & Marshall 🌟

Please help us give a big Firefly welcome to this powerhouse pair!

Marshall is a 12-year-old OTTB who raced until he was 6 - earning an impressive $80,000 on the track before beginning his second career. 🏇✨ Now he’s channeling that athleticism into eventing after spending some time in the hunter world and we are here for it.

Aimee has been riding her whole life and is game for just about anything on horseback - but five years ago she found her true passion in eventing.

She loves the combination of dressage precision and bold jumping, and we’re so excited to support her as she and Marshall continue moving up the levels.

🌟 Meet Alex — Part-Time Barn Manager 🌟

We’re so excited to officially welcome Alex to the Firefly Equestrian family!

Alex has been in love with horses for as long as she can remember. As a toddler, while other kids were outside playing, she was running fence lines alongside horses—already completely hooked. She began riding at just four years old at a small barn in Connecticut and continued riding there until 2022, when she took a big leap and became a working student for the incredible Patty Stovel in Ocala.

That journey took Alex to Kentucky, where she helped develop and show young horses at WEC and the Kentucky Horse Park, gaining extensive experience in young horse development, show preparation, and day-to-day barn operations.

After that chapter, Alex went on to work for an FEI show jumper and recently made her way to Texas, bringing with her a deep well of horsemanship, care, and attention to detail—qualities that align beautifully with our Firefly program.

And last—but definitely most important 😉—Alex has a horse named Ciaran, who she describes as “the best boy in the whole wide world.” 💙

Meet (Stacy) & Zeus “Dos” — delivered from California today!

After a six-year break from horse ownership, Stacy is officially a horse owner again! 🙌 While she’s owned several horses, Zeus “Dos” is extra special… he’s her very first Warlander. ✨

So how did these two find each other?
That’s where the Firefly Equestrian magic comes in. 🪄🐎

Stacy worked with us through our Firefly Horse Matchmaking Services, starting with our Horse Buyer Questionnaire. From goals and preferences to must-haves and non-negotiables, we take a thoughtful, personalized approach to finding the horse—not just a horse.
And the result? A partner Stacy truly loves, feels confident on, and can’t stop smiling about 💫

Our barn is full of incredible humans and horses, and we feel so lucky to be part of this brand-new chapter with Stacy and Zeus “Dos.” This is what it’s all about. 🤍

Meet Julia, a Part-Time Barn Manager at Firefly Equestrian.

Julia is an exceptional member of the Firefly Equestrian team, bringing a high level of horsemanship, professionalism, and care to everything she does. Her attention to detail and dedication make a meaningful impact on our horses and our program.

An FEI groom, Julia has experience with upper-level and young dressage horses, as well as jumpers, polo, fox hunting, lesson programs, trail riding, and introductory horsemanship. In 2018, she worked as a groom and exercise rider with Cavalia Odysseo, an experience that reflects her skill and work ethic.

The horse featured here is Shinzo, a coming 5-year-old dressage horse Julia is currently working with. While she doesn’t own a horse at this time, her passion for horse development and care is evident in her work.

Julia, thank you. We are truly grateful for your dedication, your care for our horses, and the pride you take in your work. We’re so excited and proud to have you as part of the Firefly Equestrian team! ✨🐴

Meet (Danny) our part-time Barn Manager and one of the essential behind-the-scenes leaders at Firefly Equestrian. From early mornings to the daily details that keep our horses thriving, Danny consistently shows up with a positive attitude and a deep commitment to exceptional care.

He is a steady, dependable presence—making sure nothing is overlooked, the horses always come first, and the barn operates smoothly day in and day out. Simply put, Firefly would not be Firefly without him.
