🐾💚 Vet Tech Appreciation Spotlight: Ansley! 💚🐾

We love Ansley so much that she gets two spotlight posts!!!

Today we’re celebrating Ansley, an incredible veterinary technician with a huge heart for animals of all kinds! 🐶🐱🦎🦜
Whether it’s cats, dogs, reptiles, or birds, Ansley’s love for animals knows no bounds. When she’s not caring for patients, you might find her bird watching or working as a zookeeper! 🦉🦒 Her intelligence, passion, and dedication to animals make her truly special.
And if you ask my dogs, Ansley is hands down their FAVORITE technician! 🐕❤️ They know a good human when they see one!
I also have the privilege to call her one of closets friends and have watched her grow into an amazing technician over the years and someone I know I can always count on.
We’re so lucky to have someone as smart, compassionate, and animal-obsessed as Ansley doing what she loves. Thank you for everything you do for animals, big and small! 🐾

Xoxo Christine-PM

Help us show Ansley some love and appreciation! 💚👏

Today’s spotlight is on Ansley Jackson, who happens to be our lead assistant. She has been with us since 2023! As our lead, she is responsible for keeping everybody else up on their skills and staying one step ahead of Dr. Legato. She graduated from UGA (go dawgs!) with a degree in poultry science. You might guess from that that she likes working with birds, but in reality she likes working with any species. She has had a love of all creatures since she was a child. Despite being finished with school (for now), she is always keeping up with new developments in the veterinary field. Beyond veterinary pursuits, she is a talented sketch artist. She currently has one cat, one bearded dragon and one ball python.

Ansley is the best- Love Dr.Legato

Happy day 5 of Veterinary Technician week! Today we are both celebrating and introducing a new member to the Sycamore team: Jamie—our lead technician!!! 💝🐶🐱

Jamie was born and raised near Orlando, Florida, and animals have been her passion for as long as she can remember. She grew up riding horses and bringing home any animal her parents would allow. She even used her birthday money to “adopt” a dolphin named Sunshine! 🐬

She started working in veterinary medicine right out of high school, turning her lifelong love for animals into a career dedicated to helping them.

Jamie has been married for 23 years, and has three amazing kids who share her love for animals. Their farm is home to five dogs; an African grey parrot, Fergie Bird; an Australian skink, Gordon; her Quarter Horse, Dozer; their donkey, Donkey Waffles; two goats, Baby and Bambi; chickens; a cat, Bagheera; a tortoise, Leo; and her daughter’s betta fish, Ben.

Animals have always been a big part of her life, both at work and at home, and she wouldn’t have it any other way! 💉🩺🔬

Thank you Jamie for all of your hard work and dedication to animals of all different types! We appreciate you and are happy to welcome you as a member of the Sycamore family! 🐶🐴🐱🦎🐐🐢🐔🦜🐠💝

Today is an extra special day of celebration for National Veterinary Technician week because we are celebrating more than one member of our team!!! Everyone give a big shoutout to Reagan, a dedicated technician at Sycamore who has helped care for multiple pets at our clinic for almost 5 years! 🐶🐱💕

Reagan has had a passion for animals of all kinds ever since she was little, from bottle feeding the littlest of kittens, to caring for the tallest of Great Danes she has gone above and beyond for both clients and their animals!

She has 15 cats (Jinx, Jax, Pearl, Dolly, June, Johnny, Conway, Hank, Kenny, Stormie, Magnolia, Toothless, Fury, Loretta, Ronnie) & 10 dogs (Hades, Duke, Stella, Toast, Cinnamon, Jellybean, Jax, Clyde, Bonnie, Walter)! 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

She also has a 3 year old son and 5 year old stepson who share her love of animals 💞

Reagan has been a valued member of the team for years—and not only are we celebrating her this tech week—but we are also gearing up to celebrate her upcoming wedding to her fiancé who she met here at Sycamore! (How lovely)💍

Thank you Reagan for all your hard work!!! We appreciate you and all you do 🐶🐱💉🩺🔬🩹💝

Happy Veterinary Technician week!!! Continuing our series of introducing and celebrating the lovely tech team of Sycamore… we are putting the spotlight on Hannah who has been with us for quite some time!! 🐶🐱💉🩹

Hannah grew up living on a small farm and always knew that working with animals was something she wanted to do in the future. In high school she realized that she wanted to work in large animal production medicine to help farmers around the state maintain healthy and efficient herds. 🐮🐷🐴

She has 3 cats and 2 dogs, but her family is always growing😂. She loves working in vet med because every day is different! She loves getting to meet new people, work with new animals, and learn different techniques every day. 🩺🔬

Having the opportunity to continue learning while doing a job she loves keeps everything interesting! 💝

Thanks for all of your hard work, Hannah, and we are so happy to help celebrate all you do at Sycamore and your further journey in vet medicine (that’s right… Hannah’s goal includes applying to vet school!!!!) 💞💕

You know what time it is… it’s day 3 of our Vet Tech week celebrations and today we’re highlighting Alyssa and her hard work as a tech here at Sycamore 💝🩹

Alyssa is from Dallas, Georgia and a senior at the University of Georgia! She is studying Biological Sciences and minoring in Avian Biology. She has been at Sycamore for about a year both as a volunteer and tech and has two dogs: A pitty mix named Dixie and a chihuahua mix named JJ. Alyssa works in vet med because she wants to be a voice for our furry friends who can’t speak themselves!

Her favorite thing about being a tech is getting to know clients and their animals 🐶🐱💞

Please help us celebrate Alyssa as a valued member of our team this national vet tech week 💕🌟💉 we appreciate all you do, Alyssa!
