🌴🐾 Hurricane Season Is Here 🐾🌴

As summer winds down, hurricane season is already underway, and we want to make sure our pups and rescue are as prepared as possible. ❤️

Since the last devastating hurricane, we have made many improvements and upgrades to the structures at the rescue to better protect the dogs and prepare for future storms. 🏠🐶

One thing that would be a huge help right now is having extra dog food and essential supplies on hand. A storm can make it difficult to get deliveries and supplies, so being prepared is extremely important.

Our mission goes beyond the dogs who live at the rescue. Every day, we provide food for street dogs throughout Negril, as well as some locally owned dogs who depend on our daily food runs. 🐕❤️

Your support helps ensure that, even during difficult times or after a storm, we can continue to fill bowls and care for the dogs who depend on us.

The slow tourist season is here, which means fewer visitors stopping by with much-needed donations. ❤️🐾

You can still make a huge difference! Our biggest expense is dog food. Every day we’re feeding 35 dogs at the rescue plus 40–50 street dogs throughout Negril who rely on us for their next meal.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps keep hungry bellies full. Thank you for standing with us and the dogs who depend on your kindness. ❤️💚💛

Bea is amazing! She is one of our rescues who went to the US after Hurricane Melissa destroyed our kennels. She is up for adoption.

Bea is our neuro dog from Jamaica. She survived 2 hurricanes.

Bea spins in circles when she is excited or not sure what to do.

She is settled into a new routine in her foster home.

She will do best in a home with a doggie door. She is housebroken but doesn’t communicate when she needs to go out. She loves to play with other dogs but her style of play consists of whacking another dog with her paw to get them to play.
She is not a fan of going for walks but she is a huge fan of napping on a bed, couch, chair or any soft surface.
