Gaines Family Farmstead Gaines Family Farmstead is a family owned and operated premium, American made, all natural, dog treat company. Each dog is a member of the family.

For over three generations, the Gaines family has been a dog family. We’ve raised purebreds of all kinds including weimaraners, samoyeds, Irish setters, miniature chihuahuas, border collies, and poodles (just to name a few). We’ve also opened our doors and our hearts to rescue dogs, giving them their furever home. Raising dogs has been as much a part of our family as breathing. They are trained, disciplined, and pampered-- we even take them on vacations...

Because we are dog people, we are in constant contact with our veterinarian seeking advice on the best, healthiest food and treats. Frustrated and fed up with the subpar selection, we decided to address the problem ourselves. Once again we consulted our family vet, this time on the health benefits of sweet potatoes in canine diets and then conducted some independent research of our own. Boy, did we learn a lot. Our family believes what we discovered deserves to be shared with other like-minded dog folks. Gaines Family Farmstead Sweet Potato Dog Treats is the culmination of our research and hard work and we’re delighted to share them with you!

Beef trachea is a cow’s windpipe- yep, we said it! We incorporate upcycled ingredients differently than we do with our sweet potato products. With sweet potatoes, we transform an abundant, wholesome crop into nourishing treats. With beef trachea, we give a nutrient-rich animal byproduct a delicious second purpose instead of letting it go to waste.

This single-ingredient chew delivers satisfying crunch and enrichment while naturally providing cartilage that contains glucosamine and chondroitin.

From U.S. waters to your pet’s treat bowl! 🐟🐶🐱

Our Asian carp swim bladders are wild caught right here in the USA—and their story goes beyond snack time.

Asian carp are invasive fish that can crowd out native species and disrupt aquatic ecosystems. Harvesting them helps reduce their numbers while turning an available resource into something dogs AND cats can enjoy. 💙

These single-ingredient treats naturally contain collagen, a structural protein found in skin, joints, and connective tissue. They also provide protein for your pet’s everyday nutrition—with no additives or preservatives.
