Athena has officially started her rescue story and is settling in with her foster family in Washington!

This beautiful girl will be focusing on her health and fitness this summer, working on shedding a few extra pounds and feeling her best. As we get to know Athena and she completes her veterinary care, she’ll be on her way to finding her forever home.

For now, she’s enjoying the start of her new chapter, and we can’t wait to share updates along the way. Stay tuned for more on Athena! 🐾💕

‼️All dogs need fosters located within 3 hours of Dallas, TX.‼️

These 5 Great Danes are desperately waiting for foster homes so they can officially enter our rescue program.
Each dog has already been evaluated by our team, and we are able to provide background information to help set fosters up for success. Sadly, despite being ready for rescue, no one has stepped up for them yet. When placement requests come in, time is rarely on our side.

At just 2 years old, Atlas is the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly couch potato. Want to spend the day binge-watching TV? Atlas is ready to curl up beside you. Looking for a buddy to run around and have fun with? He’s absolutely game for that too. His motto is basically: “Whatever you’re doing, I want to do it with you!”

Atlas is a true VELCRO dog who loves being close to his people and soaking up all the attention he can get. He’s a happy, affectionate boy who aims to please and thrives on companionship. He gets along great with his foster siblings and enjoys being part of the pack.

He’s met some kids and thinks they’re pretty great — especially because they tend to drop snacks and leave tasty crumbs behind! Atlas has previously lived with cats and done well with feline companions.

Like any young dog, Atlas is still polishing a few skills. He’s working on his leash manners and learning that countertops are not self-serve buffets. But with consistency, patience, and a few treats, this eager-to-learn boy will continue to blossom.

Neo is a 3-year-old love bug currently hanging out in Crandall, TX and searching for his perfect foster family. He needs a foster within 3 hours of Dallas/Fort Worth.

This handsome guy checks all the boxes:

❤️‍🩹Donations Needed for Harley❤️‍🩹

Sweet Harley recently came into rescue and has had a tough time adjusting to all the changes in her life. Sadly, the stress took a serious toll on her body and she developed Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis (HGE). This serious condition causes sudden vomiting and severe bloody diarrhea, and dogs can become dangerously dehydrated within hours. Without prompt treatment, it can quickly become life-threatening.

Harley became critically ill very quickly and was rushed to the emergency vet where she spent two days receiving intensive diagnostics, treatment, and supportive care.

As many know, emergency vet stays come with overwhelming costs, and Harley’s care was completely unexpected.

➡️Her total bill came to $3300.00.

‼️We are asking for your help to cover her medical expenses so we can continue saying “yes” to dogs in need like Harley.

Welcome to Hearty Paws, Memphis and Freya! 💜🐾

Last week we sent out an SOS for these two because we only had 1 week to find them foster homes! With an owner moving and not able to take them, we had a hard deadline. Thanks to everyone sharing our post we found great foster homes for them and they arrived today!

Memphis and Freya will be settling into their new foster homes in Texas and getting updated vet care while we learn more about them. We are so happy to be a part of their story to their new start in life.
