Update on the 5 new intakes. The meds are starting to work - they are starting to settle down. Stardust is recovering well from her surgery! The rest of the crew goes in for their surgeries on Tuesday, Sept 8th. They will get spayed/neutered, combo tested, vaccinated with fvrcp and rabies and microchipped. They will receive a Nexgard Combo flea treatment.
They will have to have their undersides shaved while sedated -the mats are too bad to remove.

As you could imagine I have gotten HUNDREDS of applications for these Maine C**ns. I am not going to commit any cat to anyone until they are healthy. I will sit down and review them all as soon as I can. Thank you for understanding!

UPDATE - I AM GOING TO PICK HER UP NOW. SHE DID WELL. BLOODWORK WAS GOOD. THE VET REMOVED 4 ABORTED FETUSES FROM HER! SHE GOT ALL THE SHOTS AND MEDS SHE NEEDS SO ON TO HEALING AND A HAPPY LIFE!

We are at the clinic to get Stardust spayed and the rest of her babies taken out. We also need to do bloodwork and make sure she is ok! She will need meds too. Please donate if you can. Im NEVER going to say no when a breeder is in crisis and needs to shut down immediately because of family tragedy. I will step in and help and figure it out as I go because I know the cats need me. Such is the case with a breeder in Louisiana who reached out for help and was just going to release them onto her farm if she couldn't find a place for them. I wont release any names or cities but rest assured the breeding is done there.

My transporter just sent me this picture of the kitties on their way to me. There were supposed to be 4 but as we all know "cat math" - there are 5 in the crate. They do not look healthy to me - one looks pretty bad in particular. I don't know male or female, or ages for that matter. The paperwork is en route to me. I will post more info once I have them. They won't be available for adoption until I get them healthy and spayed/neutered with all vaccines.

If you find it in your heart to donate to my rescue to help these kitties, I would be forever grateful. I feel some hefty vet bills coming up and of course the cost of their surgeries. I appreciate your support so much!

Meet Mercedes! She came from a breeder and had lived there her whole life. When she came to us she was very scared and didn’t know how to react to being a pet. We finally figured out that she loved to be around other cats! We put her in a crate in the living room where the other cats could say hi and she settled in quickly. Now she is running and playing with them and getting sweeter by the day. With the perfect home she will flourish. She loves back scratches and is a perfect lady in the litter box. Please adopt this gorgeous girl!
