🐾❤️ Happy Veterinary Technician Week! ❤️🐾
As we finish up the official week that we celebrate our veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants, here’s a look at (most of) our CountrySide technical team on TikTok. We are privileged to have 27 certified veterinary technicians, 3 veterinary technicians and 26 veterinary assistants to provide the skills, care and compassion that makes us CountrySide❣️
Veterinary technicians wear SO many hats! They are nurses, anesthetists, surgical assistants, laboratory and radiology techs, educators, mentors, counselors, problem-solvers, team leaders, and above all, patient advocates.
They monitor anesthesia, recognize subtle changes in a patient’s condition, perform diagnostics, comfort frightened pets, educate clients, support families through difficult decisions, and advocate for patients who cannot speak for themselves.
They are teachers to new team members, partners to their doctors, shoulders for grieving clients, and often the calm in the middle of chaos. They juggle competing priorities, unexpected emergencies, and emotional moments while striving to provide the best possible care.
Veterinary technology is more than a job. It’s a profession that requires medical knowledge, technical expertise, critical thinking, compassion, resilience, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
This week, we celebrate every hat you wear, every life you touch, and every difference you make. You are valued, essential, and appreciated—not just this week, but every day! 🐶🐱❤️
