🐶 World Dog Day is a special day dedicated to celebrating the love, loyalty, and companionship dogs bring into our lives. It also helps raise awareness about animal welfare, adoption, responsible pet ownership, and the importance of ending animal cruelty and unethical breeding practices.

The day recognizes not only our beloved family pets, but also the incredible work of service dogs, therapy dogs, rescue dogs, and working dogs who make a difference every day.

World Dog Day was launched by animal advocates and dog lovers to encourage adoption and support rescue efforts, while shining a light on the many dogs still in need of loving homes. ❤️
