Misty 🐾
Meet Misty, a Belgian Malinois who came to us for some help with frustration related issues. Misty has had plenty of trainers prior but unfortunately still just didn't, "get it."
This applied to leash work, commands and she also has pretty significant reactivity to dogs and vans.

She appears quite forward in her behaviour but isn't atall aggressive, just frustrated, and she needs some clear guidance and consistency to teach her how to handle life .

During our session, we reconditioned her training collar and simplified heelwork before adding in some dogs and vehicles as external triggers.

Great work from all and I'm looking forward to continuing work next week 🐾

How can one so cute, be so naughty🫣🐾
Meet Rory, the golden retriever.
Rory came to us his first session on obedience, reactivity and redirection and safe to say he and his owners smashed it.
Rory started his session with no engagement, reacting and pulling on the leash. He also had a unfortunately habit of redirecting his frustration up the lead at his mum.....(not good!)
By the end, he was regulating himself on a long line around triggers, heeling beautifully, no longer biting mum and listening to his obedience the first time!

A long way to go but the difference in one session was night and day.
I'm excited to see them again soon to continue the great work 🐾

Showing that an out doesn't have to be a negative process, even with a dog with super high possession; who wants to resource guard.

Raven 🐾
In 3 weeks, this girl has got to have one of the most successful intensives I've seen.

For the first 3 days she was too anxious to look at me or take food. She was reacting at dogs and wouldn't play. Fast forward 3 weeks and she's offleash in a pack environment, passing strange dogs on solo walks and will eat and play outside.

Fantastic progress 🐾

What an intense few weeks with my favourite girl.
After the success of Rehn's PSA1 award last weekend, we had the honour of attending and trialling at the first UK regionals.
We gave it our all and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

A big thank you to all the decoys, judges, stewards, and clubs that have played a part in the last two weeks!

Onwards to the 2s!
