Darcie’s first group walk! 👏
A wee recap on Darcie, I started working with her last year as she was just such a nervous wee soul. After our training block was over, we started doing solo walks just to really help boost her confidence more with being handled only by myself without her owners around. And now we’re here 🥹 she has really come out of her shell a lot!! I’m so proud of her 🥰

I tried to film a video that included my face today as I figured that things that I want to share about dogs etc in future would be better as I speak, due to finding it so difficult to put it into writing .. I don’t know how influencers can do it 🤣 I could barely get a sentence out hahaha

So instead, here’s clips of Sasha during that time filming!
And a little note on Sasha, we all know that she has been such a fantastic little helper over the years when coming out to training sessions, however I think it’s time for her to retire and just enjoy playing with her friends! She’s 13 now, plus although she’s overall a very healthy girl, she is having some issues with her mouth and I don’t want to put her at risk of getting hurt by accident by another dog etc. so she will spend her senior years just getting to be with her friends 🥰

Buddy is the most confident dog in my walks but Ollie is a close second! And no wonder as he spent a lot of his puppy time with Buddy!
Ollie Dog has a massive personality as well, he is so keen to just talk to anyone and will instantly be best friends for life with any dog. I’m pretty sure if dogs could talk, they’d all say that Ollie is their bestie!
Of course my favourite walk time ritual is having to get a big bear hug from him before we leave the house, it’s a must or he refuses to leave 🥹
Ollie has been such a delight to walk over the years, always so full of energy and joy. It has been wonderful seeing the dog he’s become over the years! ❤️

Every so often, I give a dog a little time to shine and today I feel like Buddy needs his moment 🥹

Buddy became a part of the yes k9 family about 8 years ago, originally for training and then moved on to join our walks. He is without a doubt our most confident and enthusiastic dog!
Buddy loves to explore, loves making new friends(and making love to those new friends..😭🤣) and overall just loves life! Nothing phases him at all, which makes him such a fantastic dog to use for introducing new potential friends into our group walks. I always say, if your dog can handle Buddy, they’ll be able to handle the rest of them 😅
Although Buddy can be a little *too* enthusiastic when meeting new friends, he actually will also listen if they want him to back off! And actually after the first time they meet, he never gets quite as excited to see them after that 🤣
One of my favourite things about Buddy is just how excited he gets when I come to pick him up for his walks, even though over the years I’ve wound up with plenty burst lips, or bloody noses from his head meeting my face when I walk in 🤣 his excitement has never faltered, he just loves getting to go out!
Buddy brings so much life to our walks, even now when he’s slowing down a little! He is so much fun to walk and I’m so glad he has been with us all these years ❤️

Our senior boys, walks may not be as fast paced and rowdy anymore but they still very much have a great time!
9 years of working with Buddy and I still have to protect my face when he jumps though 😂

A big massive congratulations to Bertie who has been adopted by his foster owners! 🎉
Honestly, I don’t think he could’ve landed in a better home. Bertie had major anxiety that even medication could barely help… he also required someone who would give him so much time and patience to help him through it all. With being such a big dog as well as being so strong and could also easily come off intimidating if you don’t know him, it’s a massive responsibility to take on. His now owners gave him the time and worked so hard to gain his trust, to help him through his troubles and he’s coming out the other side and slowly off his meds❤️
He deserves the best home and that’s exactly what he got. His owners are saints, to take in a dog who was so scared of every little noise and movement to where he can now settle in his home and enjoy being outside without worrying that everything is out to get him. It’s not easy but it’s always, always worth it to wind up with a dog like Bertie! 😭🥰
I wish Bertie and his owners a lifetime of happiness together ❤️
