An Important Update Regarding Our Mileage Fee 🚗✨

First, we want to thank you for your continued support and for welcoming us into your homes and spaces for your holistic treatments. As a fully mobile service, traveling to you is at the heart of what we do.

Due to the significant rise in fuel costs over recent months, we have reached a point where we need to make a small adjustment to our travel pricing. We held off on this change for as long as possible, but to ensure we can continue bringing our services directly to your doorstep, we are introducing a modest flat update to our mileage fees:

📍 Up to 30 miles from us: An extra £5 added to your usual mileage total
📍 Over 30 miles from us: An extra £10 added to your usual mileage total

Please note: This is a flat rate per booking, not per mile! (For example, if your mileage fee was previously £20, it will now be £25).

Our goal has always been to keep our holistic services as accessible and affordable as possible, and we will continue to keep travel costs to an absolute minimum.

Updated fee details will be reflected on our website following our next site update.

Thank you so much for your understanding, kindness, and ongoing support. We look forward to seeing you at your next appointment! 🌿💚

⚠️ POISON ALERT FOR PET OWNERS & LOCAL RESIDENTS ⚠️

Councils and property factoring companies are actively spraying weedkillers along public grass borders, pavements, and fence lines. Workers have been spotted carrying bulk containers of glyphosate, causing significant overspray into adjacent private gardens.

While maintaining green spaces is necessary, using hazardous chemicals places our pets, local wildlife, and children at serious risk.

What you need to know💡:

📌 Unnoticed Hazards: Areas treated with glyphosate are rarely marked or posted with warnings.

📌 Pet Risks: Walking dogs through freshly sprayed zones can cause chemical burns, severe allergic reactions, and toxic poisoning—often presenting as unexplained, inflamed, or infected paws.

📌 Wildlife & Kids: Outdoor cats, urban wildlife, and children playing near grassy edges are equally exposed.

📌 Smarter Alternatives: Edge maintenance can easily be done using cordless or battery-operated trimmers without resorting to toxic chemicals.

Action Steps✏️:
☝️Wipe down your pet's paws thoroughly after walks in public areas.
☝️Contact your local council or factoring company to ask if glyphosate is being used in your neighborhood.
☝️Demand safer, non-chemical edge-trimming methods for local public spaces.

NEVER WASH dog and cat beds or toys with washing detergent and fabric conditioner!!!⚠️☣️⚠️

Standard laundry detergents and fabric softeners contain synthetic fragrances, enzymes, and surfactants that leave persistent chemical residues on pet bedding and toys.

Because dogs and cats possess an exceptionally acute sense of smell—and absorb compounds directly through their skin and grooming habits—exposure to these agents is a leading cause of contact allergies, skin irritation, and respiratory distress.
Even the most advanced washing machines cannot completely eliminate detergent residues during a standard rinse cycle.

To maintain a hygienic environment without compromising your pet's health:

• WASH AT 60°C: Water at this temperature effectively neutralizes bacteria, dust mites, and grime without requiring synthetic chemical agents.

• USE DISTILLED WHITE VINEGAR: Add white vinegar directly to the cycle as a natural sanitizer and deodorizer. It breaks down stubborn odors and organic material naturally.

• ELIMINATE RESIDUE: Once fully dry, vinegar leaves no lingering odor, ensuring toys and bedding remain completely odorless and pristine for your pet.

Eliminating chemical detergents protects your pets from unnecessary allergen exposure while keeping their belongings thoroughly clean.

Beware of Pet Supplements!

Giving supplements to companion animals has become increasingly popular among pet owners. Many start by researching online, asking AI, participating in social media discussion groups, or taking advice from friends. While this can be a helpful starting point, it is crucial to consult a qualified veterinary herbalist or nutritionist.

Every animal is an individual with unique sensitivities, health needs, and potential allergies.

The pressure on pet owners from manufacturers, social media, and well-meaning friends can be overwhelming. Once you click on a single advertisement online, algorithms will flood your feed with similar marketing messages. It is easy to fall into the trap of believing these ads—especially when backed by fake reviews—leading many to buy unnecessary or unsuitable products.

Here are a few key facts to keep in mind:

☯️ Ingredient Lists & Fillers: Many off-the-shelf products contain dozens of ingredients, most of which your pet simply does not need. Exact percentages are often missing from labels, and products are frequently packed with bulking agents, preservatives, and anti-caking agents.

When you introduce a complex supplement with numerous components, it becomes impossible to determine which ingredient is actually causing an effect (or a reaction).

☯️ Turmeric: Turmeric is currently one of the most trendy ingredients in pet wellness, but did you know it acts as a blood thinner? If your pet is scheduled for surgery or is already taking medication, your vet must be informed before you administer turmeric.

☯️ C*D Oil: In the UK, C*D oil for animals is strictly regulated as a prescription-only medicine (POM-V). Selling or buying C*D oil for pets without a veterinary prescription is illegal. Dosing must be precisely managed by a vet experienced in cannabinoid therapy.

We can list here numerous supplements, which need special attention and without the right information, attempting to self-prescribe can easily cause more harm than good, or simply prove ineffective.

Every animal deserves tailored, professional guidance to ensure supplements safely enhance and maintain their quality of life. If this post made you think twice about your pet’s routine, or if you would like expert guidance, please get in touch with us—we are always happy to help!

Small changes can make a massive difference in a pet’s daily comfort!

3D printing technology has become significantly more affordable and accessible in recent years, opening up incredible possibilities for everyday pet care. Because 3D designs are fully customizable, we can tailor solutions directly to an individual animal's unique physical needs.

Take a look at this setup we saw at a client’s house! Their friend 3D-printed a custom raised stand for their dog’s bowl. Because this dog copes with joint and musculoskeletal issues, reaching down to the floor caused unnecessary strain and pain. Elevating the bowls allows him to eat and drink in a natural, neutral posture, making mealtimes comfortable again. The beauty of 3D printing is that height, angle, color, and design can be adjusted down to the exact millimeter to suit any breed.

Beyond orthopedic feeding stations, custom 3D designs offer endless ways to enrich our pets' lives:

Mobility & Rehab Aids: Custom lightweight splints, wheelchair components, or anti-slip steps to help older pets climb onto the sofa safely.

Mental Stimulation: Unique slow feeders, puzzle toys, and treat dispensers tailored to a dog's specific problem-solving style.

Utility & Organization: Personalized leash hooks, custom tag holders, food scoopers, and specialized storage containers.

When it comes to custom pet solutions, 3D printing leaves virtually no limit to what you can create!

Meet Wally, the adorable Saint Bernard! We’ve been supporting Wally’s musculoskeletal health with Acupuncture and Herbal medicine, and he is doing fantastically.

To boost his healing journey, Ellen, our vet often recommends integrating red light therapy into the routine—and Wally’s mum has stepped up as the ultimate therapy partner!

Here is why red light therapy makes such a huge difference:

Speeds Up Tissue Repair: Light energy penetrates deep into tissues, stimulating cellular energy (ATP) production to accelerate healing in muscles, joints, and connective tissue.

Reduces Pain & Inflammation: It helps ease chronic joint stiffness and muscular soreness naturally, providing gentle, drug-free comfort.

Enhances Circulation: By boosting microcirculation and oxygen flow to targeted areas, it helps flush out toxins and reduce swelling.

Simple & Stress-Free Home Care: It is completely non-invasive and relaxing, making it easy for dedicated owners to administer at home between veterinary appointments.

Wally's owner is a true champion of complementary care—faithfully managing his daily herbal medicine and giving him regular red light treatments at home. Her devotion and enthusiasm play a massive role in how quickly her dogs recover and thrive!

Before starting red light therapy at home, please consult our team or book an appointment to ensure it’s right for your pet.

Is your dog starting to slow down or showing signs of stiffness? 🐾 Bone broth is one of the most powerful, natural ways to support joint health and manage arthritis in dogs!

Packed with naturally occurring glucosamine, chondroitin, and collagen, bone broth protects joint cartilage, reduces inflammation, and keeps your furry friend moving comfortably. The best part? You don't need fancy, expensive store-bought versions to get these benefits!

How to Make Homemade Bone Broth:
Get the bones: Ask your local butcher for beef bones (they're often free or very cheap!).

Slow cook: Place the bones in a casserole dish or slow cooker with water. Cook on low for 4-5 hours. Do NOT add salt, spices, onions, or garlic.
Cool and skim: Once finished, let it cool down in the pot. Skim off the layer of fat that settles on the top.

Store: Pour into glass jars for the fridge, or freeze them in ice cube trays for easy, daily portion-sized treats!

Don't fall for marketing tricks—store-bought pouches and bottles can be expensive and often contain unnecessary additives or extra flavorings. When it comes to your pet's health, fewer ingredients mean a healthier dog. Pure, natural homemade bone broth is all your dog needs for strong, happy joints!
