World Animal Day:
Celebrating all creatures, great and small

Animals have a wonderful way of making us smile, getting us moving and helping
us forget about our to-do lists for a while.

A walk with the dog, a stroke with the cat, grooming your horse, or
simply watching animals do their thing can be a great way to switch off and live
in the moment.

They bring us laughter, companionship and comfort, while encouraging us to
spend more time outdoors and stay active.

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t feel better after some quality animal time?
Share your wonderful animals in the comments we love seeing them all 😍🐢🐱🐭🐹🐰πŸ₯🐴🐍🦎🐒🐁🦜

🌟🐾 Happy Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Day! 🐾🌟

Today, we celebrate the friendly faces who greet you at our front desk, answer every phone call with care, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. πŸ’™

Our veterinary receptionists Chris, Lorraine, Kelly, Emma, Sarah, Maria, Iona, Ali, Holly, Claire and Cheryl (our insurance lady) are the reassuring voice on the phone and the first warm smile you see when you walk through our doors. From scheduling busy appointments to calming worried pet parents (and giving out secret treats to our furry patients!), they do it all with patience and a big heart. 🐢🐱

We truly could not care for our community's pets without them. Please join us in saying a massive THANK YOU to our amazing front desk team today! Drop a kind message or a 🐾 in the comments to show your appreciation!

These gorgeous Tonkinese brothers, Pippin and Frodo, were booked in for dental procedures at our hospital.

They were both trying to escape their kennels before their procedures and had the whole nursing team falling in love with them.

They were absolute stars during their operations – well done boys!!!

They loved the dreamies and lickylix after their procedures. What a handsome pair πŸ₯°πŸ±

We are so excited to announce that we have retained our ISFM Gold accreditation.

This means we have achieved the highest level of accreditation from the International Society of Feline Medicine for providing exceptional, stress-reduced care for cats.

What Gold Status Requires:
Specialized Facilities: The clinic provides a dedicated cat-only waiting area or specialized raised seating/baskets to keep carriers off the floor and away from dogs. It also features at least one consulting room used primarily or exclusively for felines.

Calming Environment: Practices use low-stress handling techniques, soothing colors, reduced noise levels, and pheromone diffusers (like Feliway) to keep patients relaxed.

Extended Appointment Times: Routine consultations last a minimum of 15 minutes to allow for gentle, unhurried interactions that minimize anxiety.

Advanced Equipment: The clinic is equipped with high-standard diagnostic and hospitalization facilities tailored specifically to the delicate medical needs of cats.
