I hope many of you had the thrill of watching Ros at Badminston this year. Her perky little horse was having a blast on the cross-country course and had already wow'd the crowd in their dressage test.
"So we were the same triumvirate sitting up here at Burghley [Horse Trials] a couple of years ago. We were in the same order. [๐ฅ Ros Canter, ๐ฅ Tim Price, ๐ฅ Harry Meade). The question was put to Tim and me: what are you going to do to stop Ros winning? And we sort of briefly talked about, and I can't remember what their names were, but do you remember there were those ice skaters who were in the underground car park and it was a metal bar? [Editor's note: Tonya Harding & Nancy Kerrigan.] We thought that was probably unfair because we really like Ros. So then we thought the next obvious thing was to get her pregnant. We really tried, but she went to Burghley and won [whilst pregnant]. Had a baby and went to Badminton, won. And that statistically shouldn't happen, so we've got to keep thinking."
