Dr. MacGowan accomplished goal of hers to go to Thirsk, Yorkshire UK to visit the James Herriot Museum. What a treat it was and so well designed. This is the actual building that Alfred Wight, who wrote the James Herriot series of books, worked out of during his career.

We wanted to make our Hampton people aware that a Good Samaritan brought in a 2 to 3 yo neutered male brown tabby that had been hit by a car near Hi-Low Farms. We attempted to save him but his injuries were too severe. He was in good body condition and weighed about 12 lbs. If he was your cat we are sorry for your loss.

Quick update from Sheila MacGowan. I am doing well 11 days post-op for my total knee replacement. I now have a better insight into how our oets feel post-op and how pain control and management are so important. I also admire even more how well they adapt to situations given them. I am grateful for everyone at the Hampton Veterinary Hospital for their support and just thought that I would share with everyone the bowl that I am using for my meds - only a vet!
