With H5 bird flu recently confirmed in NSW, we’re taking some extra precautions when caring for sick or injured wild birds.

Our clinic is still accepting sick and injured wild birds, but we ask that you please help us keep our patients, team and community safe by following these steps:

📞 Call us before bringing a wild bird to the clinic.
🦜 Keep the bird contained and avoid unnecessary handling.
🚗 When you arrive, please call our friendly receptionist. If a carrier is needed one will be provided to you.
📝 Complete the information form given by our staff.
🧼 Wash your hands thoroughly after any contact with the bird or its carrier.

Please do not bring wild birds directly into the waiting room.

Thank you for helping us continue to care for our local wildlife while keeping everyone safe. 💜

Murphys incredible recovery story 🐾 💜
When sweet Murphy first arrived at our clinic, he wasn’t feeling well and required urgent veterinary care.
After spending the night at the emergency centre, receiving around the clock treatment, Murphy returned to us for ongoing nursing care and support. From there, we were so happy to watch him grow stronger each day.
During his stay, Murphy required lots of nursing and veterinary care, cuddles and even had a few baths along the way after losing control of his bowels! 🫧
Fast forward to today.. look at him ✨
Murphy returned to us for a recheck, with a beautiful smile, tail wagging and lots of kisses for his favourite nurse Brooke!
We’re so incredibly proud of this little fighter and feel extremely lucky to have been part of his journey! Well done, Murphy! You certainly kept us on our toes, but seeing you happy, healthy and surrounded by love makes it all worthwhile 💜
