* Recommended by Vets to help with obesity, colic, insulin resistance, ulcers and stall vices.
* Help reduces boredom by extending feeding time.
* Can help reduce incidence of choke by stopping gorging, and only allowing a few strands of hay to be eaten at once.
* Have been noted to assist in having happier, healthier horses that are less aggressive towards their mates as they ALWAYS have something to eat, particularly if they are on a dirt lot, paddock paradise track, stabled, or yarded.

Quick tip! For anyone filling hay nets from a square bale, this one's saved me so much time! ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ
โ
Grab your 2 medium hay nets and lay them on either side of your square bale and slide them on like a pillow. Then split the bale down the middle and just tip it. That's it, both nets filled in one go with barely any mess. โœ”๏ธโ
โ
Such a simple little trick but it makes such a difference when you're short on time. Let me know if you give it a go! ๐Ÿ˜€

To every horse dad out there, the ones who fix the paddock fences, top up the water troughs, and the ones who get told "just help" and end up walking 4km around the paddock while everyone watches from the gate ๐Ÿด๐Ÿคฃโ

Laminitis is one of the leading causes of death in horses, and Spring pasture is one of the biggest triggers. If your horse is overweight, insulin resistant, or has Cushing's disease, sunny afternoons are consistently the riskiest time to let them graze freely.โ
โ
When it comes to hay testing, it's not the NSC number that matters most, it's the ESC + Starch level, which should sit under 10% to be considered safe for at-risk equines. โ
โ
And if you need to lock your horse off the grass while you sort out a plan with your vet or equine nutritionist, a slow feed hay net is one of the easiest tools to have ready to go. ๐ŸŒพ

๐ŸŒฑ Depending on where you are, Spring's already making itself known, frosty mornings giving way to those first warm, sunny days. It's beautiful... but it's also one of the riskiest times of year for laminitis-prone horses and ponies.โ
โ
Here's the key thing to know: Once overnight temps climb above 5ยฐC, plant sugars get used up overnight, so early morning tends to be the safer grazing window. But when it drops below 5ยฐC overnight, sugar and starch levels can stay high all day, even first thing! Worth keeping an eye on if your horse or pony is prone to laminitis ๐Ÿด

"I absolutely love my Hay Stay!! An added bonus is the excellent quality, I don't buy my hay nets anywhere else, as these are simply a superior product. 5 stars!" โญโญโญโญโญ

Rain or shine, having forage available really does make a difference when it comes to ulcer prevention, and we love that Holly's horse always has access no matter the weather.

Thank you for the 5 stars and the loyalty ๐Ÿด

This Haley took a different approach with her hay nets, hanging multiple from a single pole almost like branches on a tree! giving her ponies several feeding points across her track system. One pole, several nets, and a lot of happy (slower-eating) ponies. We love the creativity on this one!โ  ๐Ÿดโ
โ
"Excellent addition to our track hay stations! Durable, easy to use, and slows down the ponies!"โ

Whether it's a pole, a frame, or a full DIY build, we love seeing how our customers make GutzBusta work for them. Got a setup of your own? Send us a photo! ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ

Amy's setup pairs our 4x5 Knotless Round Bale net with her hay hut structure out in the paddock, giving her horses a slow feed option that's also sheltered from the elements.โ  ๐Ÿ˜โ

Day 1 and Amy's already sold ๐Ÿ™Œ "I just received my 2 nets. Day 1- I LOVE THEM"

Amy's been using hay nets around the clock for 6 years, so she knows exactly what makes a good one and what doesn't.

"Your nets are hands down the easiest to load which saves so much time and aggression (haha) when you have to load more than 1 (I load 3 a day)."

Easier filling, stronger material, less aggro mornings! Thank you Amy ๐Ÿด
