Second race start for the 5YO mare after a sound debut effort at Dubbo earlier this month. Previously trialled well and looking to continue improving with racing in this strong Maiden. Ashley Morgan rides.

Resuming 4YO mare who has performed well fresh and comes in fitted for 1300m from two trials, with the latest a pleasing win at Muswellbrook. Placed twice at the venue including at this trip and drawn favourably in barrier 2 with Ashley Morgan aboard to make her presence felt.

Fresh-up here after a decent break,
the 4YO has placed in all of his last six, possessing good early speed and routinely giving a sight in front- even out to 1400m. Has trialled up over the past month for his return and gets his winning rider (via steward’s room) Ash Morgan back on from a good draw in gate 4.

🔹 DANCES WITH HOOVES👇
Tough mare strips fitter second-up after working home strongly for 3rd in the Jackal at Tamworth three weeks ago. The rise to 1400m presents nicely now and she has already proven herself in affairs of this order, highlighted by her Mudgee Cup success last preparation. Ashley Morgan rode her to success here in the 1600m HWY two carnivals ago and partners again today.

🔹 TAIPAN LEGEND
Coming off a Wellington Cup run where things didn’t go to plan, the 5YO will look to roll forward as he usually does. Drawn very wide, but capable of negating that by building momentum gradually and working across into his rhythm on speed. Mikayla Weir, who partnered him to the first of his Tamworth mile wins this preparation, stays aboard.

🔹 RAJNISH
Experienced campaigner who takes on a another strong race, after contesting the Tamworth Cup and Prelude over this trip last month. Liberty Smyth claims, bringing him to a helpful 56.5kg and he’ll be hoping to show an improved effort now fully race fit third-up.

🔹 HULU
Genuine mare taking on another strong assignment after tackling the Tamworth Cup and winning the Prelude at her last two. Aaron Bullock goes aboard and while the draw makes things tricky, she has proven herself capable at the distance and will be looking for the luck to finish off late.

An earlier runner at Mudgee Race Club Inc today where we are proud to have the last race called the Happy Mothers’ Day - Cameron Crocket Racing Class 3! 🌸🏇

〰️ 1400m Class 2 Handicap -R4- 〰️
The 5YO Invader gelding steps out again after finding the line out wide with purpose when dropping back in trip at Muswellbrook nine days ago. He rises back to 1400m today which looks suitable at this stage of his preparation, and has performed well previously at both the track and distance with a win, 2nd and 3rd from three visits to the venue, including his first-up victory here over the trip in December.

Grant Buckley takes the ride from a favourable draw in barrier 3, with the gelding looking to build on his recent efforts and put himself right in the finish.

An interesting debutant for the stable at Dubbo Turf Club this afternoon 🏇

A 5YO having her first race start and bringing encouraging trial form after winning a sharp Muswellbrook hit-out just over a week ago. While light on experience, she has pleased thus far and shown enough at home to suggest she can present well for this first appearance.

From barrier 1, the 5YO will need things to unfold cleanly early, but Reece Jones takes the ride and can help give her the right introduction.

5YO Invader gelding returning off a month’s let-up and arriving in good order with the services of strong senior rider Rory Hutchings. While he can mix his efforts, the galloper was 2nd over 1450m here early in the prep, and has the ability to be right in the finish dropping back from the mile, fresh from a trial here 9 days ago.

Strong fresh mare resuming after a long break. The 5YO has trialled well leading in and won in style here over this track and trip first-up last prep. Nicely placed to use her speed over the short course and provided she steps cleanly, will take plenty of catching.

🔹 DANCES WITH HOOVES
Quality 5YO resuming after a let-up. The mare more than held her own last prep, highlighted by her tough win in the 1400m Mudgee Cup, and has shown she can perform well fresh, chasing home winsome stablemate Durova into 2nd at Dubbo over this trip. Should be finishing off over 1200m with Reece Jones.

Fellow 5YO mare comes off a tenacious win here in the Cup Prelude a fortnight ago, diving late to overcome her rivals on the line. This event is tougher again, but she’s proven at the distance and arrives in good form, racing with her well-established honesty. Reece Jones rides.

Third-up after two runs back this prep, most recently in the Cup Prelude here, also under Mikayla Weir. The 6YO has a strong record at Tamworth with two wins and a 2nd from 4 outings, and continues to build into his campaign as he works towards targets in the Scone Carnival for JJJ Racing.

Reseting after an unfortunate last start run in the Muswellbrook Cup when unable to cross from wide and racing on unsuitable ground. The 5YO gelding was an impressive two time Mile winner at Tamworth before he was freshened and will handle the step out to 1700m. Drawn to get his preferred way in front this time and can give a real shake at the Feature.

HULU right on cue! 🎯

The honest 5YO mare adds to her record, bounding home to take out the 1400m Tamworth Jockey Club Cup Prelude for her 6th career win! 🏆

Building on two strong recent runs in good company at Muswellbrook, where she performs so well, she transferred that to Tamworth today, settling back on the fence before threading to the outside and striking just in time to secure the result.

A well-timed and patient ride from Braith Nock, and another pleasing result for her owner - The Hon. G J Williamson. 🙌

🌟 Such a pleasure to have this ripper mare in the stable!

Two runners in this afternoon’s Tamworth Jockey Club Cup Prelude 🏆🏇🏇

〰️ 1400m BM82 - Race 7 〰️

🔹 HULU👇
Honest 5YO mare going fourth-up after a close effort at Muswellbrook a fortnight ago, closing down on the outer after switching from the inside in the 1280m Showcase Wayne Harris. She also contested the Country Championships Qualifier over the same track and trip the start prior, and finished not too distant from the now Series winner. She has performed well at 1400m in the past and can give a good sight under Braith Nock from gate 4.

🔹 RAJNISH
Second-up after returning in the Showcase Wayne Harris a fortnight ago, where he worked home from back in the field on the heels of his stablemate. The JJJ Racing 6YO won two mile races on the bounce here last prep and Mikayla Weir retains the ride, as he continues to improve into his preparation.

🔹 DUROVA continues her outstanding run for the stable, taking out today’s 1000m Showcase Skelletar Sprint at Muswellbrook Race Club

Following up on her dominant win in the 900m Prelude, the progressive 4YO showed all her fight in a tough finish after travelling wide - diving late under a big weight.

💪 That’s now six wins from her past seven starts, underlining the remarkable consistency she’s brought since finding her feet in Scone!

👏 A terrific ride from Ash Morgan to lift her there on the line and congratulations to her owner and man at the helm Mr C Crockett! ✨

Sending a strong hand to Muswellbrook Race Club for this afternoon’s feature day - headlined by the Gold Cup, Skelletar Sprint and the Wayne Harris ✨🏆🖐️

Fourth-up and out past seven furlongs after typically honest efforts all prep with three solid placings at 1200 and 1000m. The JJJ Racing 5YO mare has good tactical speed and should be able to find the most suitable spot near the front and put herself right in the mix to fight out another strong finish.

Our progressive 4YO mare has ignited her prep with a dominant first-up win in the Sprint Prelude and continues a stellar run of form with five wins from six for the stable. With her natural speed and racing pattern, she should take plenty of catching again in this feature sprint.

〰️ 1500m Muswellbrook Gold Cup -R7- 〰️
Chasing a hat-trick after two outstanding mile wins at Tamworth, with the latest under a big weight. The 5YO gelding takes a leap in grade here but has never been racing better. Likely to roll forward and find his rhythm, he’s racing with confidence and will hope for a drying track in this tougher assignment.

Third-up after contesting the Country Championships Qualifier here over the same trip three weeks ago. The 5YO mare has an excellent local record with four wins and a 2nd from six starts at the course and looks a strong contender provided the inside draw does not work to her disadvantage.

Resumes after some time off following a winsome prep and competitive Country Cup campaign, fitted with two trials and set to improve with the run. From gate 11 the JJJ Racing 6YO will settle back and have to build into his gallop, but can be working home late and set up the rest of his prep.
