HORSEMANSHIP & REINING CLINIC

Paul Khan of Seco Training Stables assisted by a senior NP reiners in a horsemanship and reining clinic.

Suitable for beginners, and newcomers through to Non-Pros. Working on general horsemanship, lateral work, reining manoeuvres and showmanship.

Our OTT aka Syd (Floodlit - Street Cry/Lumina) made his debut at the Tamworth Reining Horse Association's August show at White Park Scone. Very proud of him bringing home blue ribbons.

We are proud owners of Floodlit a Godolphin Off the Track Thoroughbred now competing in the sport of Reining.

Enjoyed a great ARCHA show on October 16-18 at White Park Arena Scone. Thank you to the committee, sponsors, judges, fellow competitors, Liz Vella, Steve Ernst and Ken Anderson Photography. EVENT OVERVIEW: The Vaquero style emphasizes control, safety and eloquence used for catching livestock in a variety of situations. Demonstrations and explanation of the vaquero-style roping techniques developed by the Mexican cowboys (vaqueros), who took these skills northward to the United States, were shown over the weekend in Wingen.

I started educating young horses from an early age, including pre-education for stock horses, western and thoroughbred disciplines.

Helping young horses through their fragile first months and seeing these young horses develop and progress successfully into their age events or disciplines is an amazing achievement. It is pleasing to know you are a vital link in their chain.
