Lou has a "Ground up" understanding of the Racehorse from breaking in for Arrowfield Stud to foreman for Richard Gibson in Chantilly France, Foreman and rider for Michael Halford on the prestigious Curragh in Ireland, Foreman for Paul Messara at the Arrowfield Training complex and travelling foreman for Gary and John Moore looking after and riding champion horses such as Takedown, Notlistenintome and Dan excel are just a few of the many stakes winning horses Lou has had the opportunity to ride and look after. Lou has a very hands on approach and likes to be involved in every aspect of training from riding trackwork to feeding and everything in between, He also has a great attention to detail and thoroughly enjoys understanding his horses and taking care of all daily treatments himself.

Winning on debut in fabulous fashion today at Muswellbrook Race Club
Settling back in the field and romping home late, STARVERNA made very easy work of her maiden win going to the line with her ears pricked

Thank you to her patient ownership group who have given her the time to develop into a lovely filly to which the patience has shown dividends today.

Thank you Verna & the team at Alma Vale Thoroughbreds who do a fantastic job in getting horses prepared in their pre-training programme prior to their arrival to us.

Two runners for two winners in under 24 hours 🏆 🏆

Fantastic to see Pensativa back in the winners stalll at tamworth yesterday after a few excellent runs in highway company, she was just too strong late over the mile in a benchmark 74.
Congratulations to Braebrook Thoroughbreds , 🏆
She is such a tough bred mare with an enormous heart.

Shutter also gets the job done today at Taree.
Luckless last start due to circumstances but she has bounced back today in fine fashion
Taking out the BM 58 mile under Deon Le Rouxs urgings.
