🐱✨ Milo's Road to Recovery ✨🐱
Just 12 weeks ago, Milo was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP)—a diagnosis that was once considered almost always fatal. While it was a difficult time for his Dad, he committed to his treatment and gave him every chance to recover.
Over the past 12 weeks, Milo has been receiving antiviral treatment, attending regular veterinary check-ups with Dr. Kate, and getting plenty of love and care at home. Every milestone has been a step in the right direction, and we're so pleased that he is now in remission!
With the help of our amazing Dr. Kate, Milo has now recovered and is getting back to doing what he loves most—playing, exploring, and enjoying life as a happy cat. 💚🐾
FIP develops when the common feline coronavirus mutates in a small number of cats. Although it's a serious disease, advances in treatment mean that many cats now have a much brighter outlook with early diagnosis and the right treatment plan.
Milo's story is a reminder that there is hope, and that every step forward is worth celebrating.
If your cat has been diagnosed with FIP or you're worried about signs such as weight loss, persistent fever, lethargy, a swollen abdomen, breathing difficulties, or changes affecting the eyes or nervous system, please speak with your veterinarian. Early diagnosis and treatment can make all the difference.
Congratulations Milo! 💚
