Thanks to generous funding from the Victorian Government grants program, we can now offer group house calls to Retirement Communities and Villages across Victoria.

We truly believe that the companionship of animals is essential for mental health and overall well-being, especially as we age.

Our mission is to eliminate barriers and provide convenient, affordable health care for beloved pets living in retirement communities.

Effective from today, 1st October 2026, we are implementing a new pricing structure at Wyndham Community Vet

Making the decision to adjust our prices is never easy. We deeply appreciate the trust you place in us to care for your beloved pets, and we want to assure you that we continue to operate entirely not-for-profit.

We still charge the absolute bare minimum required to sustain our clinic and maintain the high standard of veterinary care our patients deserve.

Like many organisations, we are facing significant increases in external overheads.

These new adjustments are directly driven by rising essential running costs, including:

• Rent and utilities to keep our clinic open and facilities running

• Wages to pay highly skilled, dedicated and hardworking veterinary team

• Medications and medical consumables which have risen substantially in cost

We sincerely apologise for these price increases.

Our commitment to our local community and your furry family members remains unchanged.

Every dollar we receive goes right back into providing the best possible care for all animals we rescue, rehabilitate, medically treat and re-home.

We are a family-owned clinic, and from the very beginning, we chose to operate completely not-for-profit because we truly care about making a difference in our community.

We don’t receive any support from the council, and though we wish with all our hearts that we could desex every cat to break the heartbreaking cycle of overpopulation, as a family, we just can’t do it alone.

Our prices reflect the bare minimum needed to cover essential costs like overheads, wages, medications, rent, and utilities... there is ZERO profit in what we do, only a commitment to care.

🌟 Meet our newest furry friend, a sweet girl who came into our care yesterday facing a tough battle. She is very critically ill and has significant injuries to her face, jaw, and mouth, leading to a challenging journey ahead.

📅 We have X-rays and additional diagnostics scheduled for Monday, and she is currently receiving critical supportive care at our clinic.

We urgently need your support to provide the extensive care she requires. With estimated costs possibly exceeding $5,000, we kindly ask for your donations to ensure she gets the treatment she deserves.
