Safe travels Lilac & Honeydew!🚙🗺️

On their way to fellow breeder Calliope Rabbitry in ACT. Hopefully Honeydew enjoys being back home with his breeder. Have really enjoyed having him with us the last few months. 😁

Just wow! I am filled with excitement!!😁

Red Herring is a Plush Carrier Netherland Dwarf, and he is looking practically identical to one of my usual Netherland Dwarf bucks. They are both around the same age (9ish weeks) and feel similar in body. With the main difference being Herring’s narrower shoulders and chest.

But really… can we appreciate that narrower shoulders and chest are a pretty common fault in many Nethies from a show perspective anyway?! 😂

All in all, I am super happy with the direction my Plush Nethies are heading. Seeing them develop alongside my usual Nethies has been the highlight of this journey so far. Especially working on this program alongside PlayLops Stud as this developing breed progresses.

Sweet mama Crumbs doing well after her recent litter. 🥰

Now her babies are roughly 8 weeks old, Crumbs has had her routine post-litter check she has been weighed, checked over, and everything is documented as part of our ongoing records.

These routine checks are just one of the little things we do to keep an eye on our rabbit’s health and wellbeing, and to make sure our mums are recover well after raising their babies.

Healthy, happy bunnies is always what we are aiming for. ☺️

Little babies 🥰

We had two wonderful mothers welcoming 2 bubs each on Monday and Tuesday this week.

Squid as always has welcomed her special beans, with one being plush coated and one being a plush carrier. Very very happy and excited to see how they turn out with dad being our plush buck “Anchovy”. 😁

Lilith is doing amazing having her second litter and raising them perfectly so far. Very proud of her improvements since her first try and couldn’t be happier. Very excited for these polish bubs!
