🐎 RIDER WANTED 🐎

Sharbrook Estate is looking for a soft, kind and patient rider to join our team!

We’re seeking someone who is confident and experienced with OTT Thoroughbreds, with a kind, balanced and encouraging riding style.

Our horses are healthy, relaxed and happy, returning to ridden work after a lengthy spell. Groundwork and lunging will already be completed, so this is a rider-only position focused on building confidence and consistency under saddle.

We’re looking for a motivated, reliable go-getter who is focused on achieving positive results while always putting the horse’s confidence and wellbeing first.

✨ The role ✨

• Approximately 3-4 horses per session
• 2–3 times per week (flexible times)
• Flexible hours
• Paid per horse/ride
• Potential for additional commissions or performance-based bonuses, pending results
• Contractor position, paid on invoice
• Must have your own insurance (as not running through PAYG)
• Must be confident riding OTT Thoroughbreds

The ideal person will be kind, patient and genuinely enjoy producing horses thoughtfully, while being driven to help each horse progress and achieve the best possible outcome.

🐴 We’re Hiring – Feed Out Team Member 🐴

Sharbrook Estate is looking for a reliable person to join our team covering feed runs.
Shifts Available:

Saturday & Sunday:
* AM feed run - 8:00am
* PM feed run 4:00pm

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday:
* PM feed run - 4:00pm

💰 We offer a generous $50 per feed run, taking approximately 40–60 minutes to complete (depending on rug changes).

We’re looking for someone who:
🐎 Has experience handling horses
🌾 Is confident feeding and checking horses
⏰ Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently
💚 Takes pride in providing exceptional care and attention to detail
📋 Holds (or is willing to obtain) their own ABN, as this is a contractor position.

✨ Additional hours may become available for the right applicant, with opportunities to assist in other areas of the property, including horse care, riding, stable duties and general property maintenance.

🐴 💕 SOLD 💕🐴

This very special lady will be heading off to her new home next week, and while we’ll miss her dearly, we couldn’t be happier for her.

After devastatingly losing her beloved horse, her new owner has an empty space that could never truly be replaced — but we hope this lovely girl will help heal, bring smiles back, and slowly fill that space with new memories.

Wishing them both comfort, connection, and so many happy miles out on the trails together. A beautiful new beginning for two deserving souls. ✨🤍

We’re excited to officially welcome three new arrivals to our retraining program — Captain, Teddy and Lacey! 🐎✨

After their time on the track, these lovely horses are now ready for the next chapter of their journey with us. Over the coming weeks, they’ll be starting their in-hand groundwork, building strong foundations, confidence, and balance as they prepare for ridden work.

Each one brings their own personality and potential, and we can’t wait to see them grow and develop in their new careers.

Today we say goodbye to Benny as he heads off to his new home. 🧡

A truly bittersweet moment — proud of him, grateful for the memories, and wishing him nothing but love and happiness in his next chapter.
Thank you to Hanns Horse Transport for treating him with such care and professionalism. Knowing he’s in safe hands makes this farewell a little easier.
