Yes, the right time to get a dog after loss is whenever you feel ready. I’ve had many dogs in my life; some fostered dogs moved on to forever homes, some rescues stayed the rest of their lives. Not one has ever replaced another in my heart. They are all remembered and loved uniquely. 💕
