One minute you're sitting happily on Christine's lap…

And the next… you're apparently falling off the planet! 🤣🐱🌎

Thankfully Christine was there to catch our very slippery Fruit Loops before he made it all the way to the floor. 😂❤️

We're not quite sure what happened here, but judging by that face, Fruit Loops would like everyone to know that this was absolutely not his fault. 😹

Look at this beautiful girl. 🥹❤️

Blue Rose is such a gorgeous, loving soul, and once she knows you're someone she can trust, her sweet personality really begins to shine.

She loves attention, she loves to play, she loves finding a warm patch of sunshine to relax in ☀️ and she absolutely adores curling up with her feline friends for some cosy company. 🐱❤️

Blue Rose can be a little shy when she first meets someone new, but that's simply part of who she is. She doesn't need to be rushed — she just needs someone willing to give her a little time, a little patience and the chance to discover that she's safe.

Our beautiful Cutie is still waiting for someone to choose her. ❤️

She's a gentle, quiet little girl who may need some time to feel comfortable in a new home. She'll need a family with plenty of patience — someone who understands that she may hide at first, may not eat straight away, and may need time to learn that this is a safe place and that these are her people.

But please don't give up on her. ❤️

Once Cutie begins to trust you, you see what a beautiful, loving little girl she really is. Pick her up and she'll curl herself into your arms, happily enjoying gentle pats and affection. 🥹💕

She loves cosy little places where she can feel safe and comfortable, and having another friendly cat around would be wonderful for her as she really seems to gain confidence from feline company. 🐱❤️🐱

She's also been around dogs and can be dog friendly with a calm, gentle, cat-friendly dog.

Cutie doesn't need someone who expects everything to happen overnight.

She needs someone who will give her the time to come out of her shell, earn her trust and watch that beautiful little personality blossom. ❤️

September is all about celebrating our beautiful feline friends, and we couldn't let Cat Month go by without celebrating all the wonderful cats who bring so much love, laughter and happiness into our lives. 😻🐾

Even though we think every month should be Cat Month… or at least our kitties do! 😂🐱💗

Here at the rescue, we have some beautiful cats who are still waiting for their forever homes and a family to call their own. 🏡❤️

🧡🐾 SUMMER — COULD THIS LITTLE ORANGE GIRL BE YOURS? 🐾🧡

There is something about a little orange cat that just makes your heart melt… and then there's Summer. 🥹🧡

At only 7 months old, she's still such a tiny little girl. Look at her tucked into this little spot in the cat tree — those tiny paws, that sweet face and that beautiful orange coat. It's hard to believe there's a whole big world waiting for her out there.

And we really want that world to be her own home. 🏡❤️

Summer is such a beautiful little soul. She's affectionate, playful and curious, and she loves being around people. She loves other cats, she's dog friendly, she's always happy to investigate what's going on around her and, of course, she's never going to say no to food! 😂🧡

She's at that gorgeous age where she's still full of kitten mischief, but she's also ready to start building that special bond with her forever person.

We can just imagine her one day curled up beside someone she loves, following them around the house, finding her favourite sunny spot, playing with her toys and growing up knowing that this is where she belongs. 🥹🐾

Summer has already had everything done for her — she's desexed, vaccinated and microchipped — so there really isn't anything standing between this gorgeous girl and her forever family.

🐾 MIMI — SHE LOVES TO BE LOVED, SHE JUST NEEDS SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS HER 🐾💗

Beautiful Mimi really does love having someone fuss over her. ❤️

She loves attention, she loves being close to you, she loves rubbing against you and enjoying all those lovely moments of affection. She's a very affectionate girl, and when she's in the mood for it, she absolutely wants her person to make a fuss of her. 🥰

But Mimi is also a girl who needs her person to listen to her.

Sometimes, when she's receiving lots and lots of affection and getting very excited, she can become a little overwhelmed by it all and that's when those little love nibbles can start. ❤️

It's not that Mimi doesn't want affection.

She just doesn't always know how to say, “Okay, that's enough for now.” 😹

That's where her person comes in.

Mimi needs someone patient enough to learn her signals and recognise when she's had enough. If she gets a little too carried away with her mouthing, a calm “naughty” and a raised finger is enough to redirect her and let her know that's enough. Mimi understands the cue and stops, and then she just needs a little time to decompress and calm herself before she's ready to enjoy some more attention.

And that's why we've included this little video today. 🎥❤️

Rather than simply telling you about Mimi's mouthing, we wanted you to see this gorgeous girl for yourself — enjoying attention, rubbing around, being affectionate and showing you that cheeky little personality of hers.

Mimi is such a beautiful chunky bobtail with so much personality. She's playful, funny, affectionate and absolutely loves her treats, and when she's comfortable with you, she really does enjoy having someone around to give her all the attention she loves. She just needs that special person who understands that sometimes loving Mimi means knowing when to pause, giving her a little breather, and letting her come back when she's ready.

Mimi needs an adult-only home where she can be the only cat, with no dogs or children. She isn't going to be the right match for everyone, but we truly believe there is someone out there who will understand her, respect her boundaries and appreciate all the wonderful things that make Mimi who she is. ❤️

Because Mimi doesn't need someone perfect.

Mimi is one of those special little cats who gets right into your heart. ❤️

She's affectionate, playful, funny and full of personality. She LOVES attention and will happily enjoy pats and cuddles, but she's just as happy chasing her favourite stick toys around and showing you how much fun she can have. 😂🎣 And of course, Mimi is always very appreciative of a tasty treat! 😹❤️

She's a gorgeous chunky bobtail with so much love to give, but Mimi does have her own little way of communicating.

Sometimes, when she's very excited or overwhelmed with affection, Mimi can give little love nibbles — what we call mouthing. ❤️ It's not aggression and she doesn't mean any harm. Her person simply needs to understand her signals, respect her boundaries and learn when she needs a little space.

She's an independent little lady who enjoys having her own space and doing things at her own pace. She's happy relaxing, exploring or simply being around you without needing constant attention.

LILY IS STILL WAITING FOR HER FOREVER HOME 🐾❤️

Our gorgeous Lily is still here, still waiting, and still wondering when her turn will come. 🥹

Lily is such a sweet little character. She loves being around people and will happily follow you from room to room, supervising whatever you're doing. 😂❤️ Even cleaning her litter box isn't safe from her supervision!

Give her some back scratches and attention and she's one very happy girl. She's also a big fan of her scratchers… and she's definitely going to make sure you remember when it's dinner time! 😂

Lily enjoys the company of other animals and loves spending time with her sister Fleur. She would be very happy in a home with another friendly cat and she's also dog friendly. 🐱❤️🐶

Lily has been in our care since she was a tiny kitten and is now nearly two years old. We would absolutely love for this beautiful girl to finally have a family of her own. 🏡🌸
