The winner goes to....Hercules! 🏆

Many clients travel from afar for their cat's grooming needs but this boy wins for distance.

His Mum recently moved a few hours away, and unfortunately there wasn’t a cat groomer suitable anywhere nearby. This was a concern, as Herc had got himself into trouble in the past with furballls.

His previous talented groomer (and my lovely friend) was understandably worried and put her thinking cap on. As she was no longer grooming cats, she came up with a plan.

His Mum works back in the Hills on occasions....so Hercules joins her for a road trip 🚙 and a stay at Stylish Whiskers.
Doesn't he look very smart in his teddy bear cut! ♥️

Can you guess what I cleaned with these cotton balls?

Chin acne!
Feline acne is a skin condition that starts with little black spots (blackheads) but can progress to bumps, swelling and infection.
Sometimes it can occur due to a reaction to your cats food/water bowls or the bowls are not cleaned enough.

Mild cases can be treated with home care such as daily cleaning with diluted chlohexidine or safe cat wipes.
Replace any bowls with stainless steel, ceramic or glass and keep them nice and clean.
Avoid using human products to wash or treat the area as some can irritate the skin.
If your cats chin acne becomes inflamed, swollen or does not improve, you need to see a Vet as it may be infected.

Kitten visits 💞
Meet & greet and introduction to grooming appointments are a great way for your new addition to ease into a grooming routine.

Two families this week had their new kitten join their older cat's appointment to learn the process. Next visit they will start their bath schedule.
