Here at Laughing Dog Day Care we aim to give your dogs a day of fun in a safe, secure and supportive environment. We are located approximately 6km’s south from the city and away from busy main roads, so you are certain of safety when you are arriving at and leaving Laughing Dog Day Care. Your dog will be escorted to their designated play area, by one of our friendly and fully trained staff members

. You will be able to view your dog’s arrival in the play area on our TV viewing screens in the waiting room. Our staff are trained to observe your dogs and ensure they are happy and comfortable. If they look like they need a rest from all the play – they can be escorted to the sun lounge where they will have a rest on their choice of sofa’s or dog beds until they are ready to come back for more play. Before entering Laughing Dog Day Care a Dog’s parents are required to complete a questionnaire regarding their dog’s likes, dislikes and behaviours. We use this along with our own thorough observations of your dog to ensure your dog is together with similar aged and like minded dogs. We carefully screen and work out what your dog wants to be involved in. Our staff will ensure your dog will be stimulated and will spend their time here interacting with humans and other dogs in a playful and fun manner. The centre is designed with particular concern for your dog’s safety, but also to engage their minds and bodies with the provision of toys and equipment. We continually monitor your dogs and will keep you up to date with our observations. We understand that all dogs are different and some will be happy spending more time at the centre and some may need a little less, if your dog is not coping with the time they are spending at the centre we will let you know. Having your dog so engaged during the day, when you can’t be there, prevents the negative behaviours dogs often develop when left alone for long periods. Your dog is much less likely to cause problems at home if they have been engaged mind and body during the day. When you come to pick up your dog they will be ready for a peaceful and relaxing night at home with their family. Our philosophy at Laughing Dog Day Care is to provide the best possible care for your dog, when you can’t be there for them.

Our beautiful Beagle girl Tilly celebrated her very FIRST birthday with a Pawty Pawtacular! 🥳🐾
Tilly invited her Corgi brother Charlie, Astrid the Hungarian Vizsla and Luna the Aussie Shepherd puppy to join her VIP pawty crew — and what a ridiculously cute little pawty crew they made! 😍
Of course, turning ONE calls for cake, and Tilly had a gorgeous pink and white birthday cake made especially for her big day. 🎂💕 Judging by that little bit of pink icing on her nose, we think the Birthday Girl gave it her official Beagle seal of approval! 😂
There were pawty hats, treats, plenty of posing and some VERY keen eyes on the snacks. Tilly even demonstrated the time-honoured Beagle technique of opening one's mouth approximately three times wider than necessary when a treat is incoming! 🤣🐾
Happy 1st Birthday, gorgeous Tilly! We hope your very first birthday was every bit as sweet, silly and pawtacular as you are. 🎀🎂🐾

👑 HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY LENI! 👑

Our gorgeous English Staffy girl Leni celebrated the big EIGHT with a very special Pawty Pawtacular! 🥳🐾

Birthday Queen Leni gathered some of her favourite furiends for the occasion, including Chase, Rory and Dutch, and of course no Pawty Pawtacular would be complete without a fabulous birthday cake! 🎂

And Leni's was VERY fabulous — a beautiful purple birthday cake, made especially for our birthday girl. 💜

There was posing. There were pawty hats. There were treats. And there was some rather enthusiastic quality control when the snacks appeared! 😂🐾

But the star of the show was our beautiful Leni, rocking her pink birthday crown and celebrating 8 fabulous years in style. 👑💕

Happy 8th Birthday, Leni! We hope you had the most pawtacular day celebrating with your furiends at Laughing Dog. 🥳🐾

Hip hip hooray! Our gorgeous birthday boy Leroy celebrated the big FOUR with a Happy Howler Pawty! 🥳🎂🐾

Leroy brought along his special pawty crew — Prince, Frankie and Dutch — for birthday celebrations, plenty of posing and, most impawtantly, CAKE! 😋🎂

And judging by that big birthday smile, we think Leroy was pretty happy with the whole arrangement! 😂

Miss Barbara celebrated her 2nd birthday in true Birthday Princess style — pink crown firmly in place, cake at the ready and her pawty crew assembled for the occasion! 🥳🐾
And what a crew she chose! Barbara may have been the smallest member of the VIP line-up, but there was absolutely no question who was running this pawty. 😂👑
There were photos, treats, plenty of birthday shenanigans and, most importantly, CAKE! 🎂 And judging by that little blue-frosting tongue… the birthday girl gave it her official seal of approval. 😋

👅 TONGUE OUT TUESDAY! 👅
We asked everypawdy to show us their very best Tongue Out Tuesday faces… and they certainly understood the assignment! 🤣
Some gave us a tiny little blep. 👅
Some delivered the perfectly timed nose lick.
Some went for the spectacular sideways tongue. 😂
And some apparently decided THE WHOLE TONGUE MUST BE SEEN! 🤣🤣🤣
There were big tongues, little tongues, curly tongues and tongues that seemed to have a mind entirely of their own!

🖤🤍🩵 IVY TURNS 9! 🩵🤍🖤

Today was a very special Pawty Pawtacular for one of our long-time Laughing Dog girls — beautiful Ivy! 🎂🐾

Ivy first padded through the doors of Laughing Dog when she was just six months old, so we've had the absolute privilege of watching this gorgeous girl grow up. And today, that little six-month-old pup somehow turned NINE! 🥳❤️

Of course, a Power Pup like Ivy couldn't possibly celebrate without a proper Port Adelaide Pawty! 🖤🤍🩵

Ivy headed into the VIP Pawty Room with fellow Power Pups Dutch, Maaike and Gemma, with the whole crew proudly dressed in their black, white and teal for the occasion.

And there was something extra special about Maaike's pawty attire — she had the honour of wearing Duncan's special Port Power bandana for the occasion. 🖤🤍🩵 It was definitely the pawfect choice for a Power Pup pawty!

The VIP guest list even stretched beyond the canine variety, with Ollie Wines popping his head in to wish Ivy a Happy Birthday. 🤣🤣🤣🏉

There were pawty hats, plenty of posing, a magnificent Power-themed cake and, naturally, Ivy made sure a little icing ended up on her nose — because no Laughing Dog birthday is complete until you've worn at least some of the cake. 😂🎂

From the six-month-old pup who first joined our Laughing Dog family to the beautiful nine-year-old Power girl sitting in front of us today — Happy 9th Birthday, Ivy! 🥳🖤🤍🩵

We've loved watching you grow up, gorgeous girl, and we're so happy we got to celebrate another very special birthday with you. 🐾❤️
