As responsible breeders we will always try to find the best homes for our dogs no matter what age.
About 16 months ago we had a dog that we co-owned and bred returned to us by his owner after being with them for over 6 years due to a domestic choice. This beautiful dog was Siri' (Grand Ch/A2O Ch Waldwiese Please Be Sirius) who had been a successful show dog and supposedly a much loved family member.

We found the new home for 'Siri' in QLD with a lovely lady called Lindy who did so much training with him and continued showing him.
Tragically the love of his life for the past 16 months, Lindy did not survive a recent brain aneurysm. Lindy's friends and family are now working on finding homes for her dogs. This includes nearly 8 year old 'Siri' who absolutely adored Lindy who had provided the best home for him.
I can send Siri's full story for those that would like to know more. Currently he is being cared for by one of Lindy's friends at her place in QLD but this is short term. If anyone would know of a suitable home please contact me as we really want him to find his best forever home.
Some things to consider before thinking you might be able to provide the best home for 'Siri'
* Single dog household preferred. As 'Siri' is still entire at this stage, certainly no other male dogs.
* No cats, poultry or small things that might run.
* Someone experienced with Weimaraners or other large active breeds of dogs. Although 'Siri' has undergone extensive training with Lindy, he will need someone who can continue this stability in his life.
* Someone that will understand he may take a while to recover from the loss of his beloved owner. His current carer says he is looking for love and affection.
* 'Siri' is people friendly (was still being actively shown). He can be a bit stand offish with men initially but was shown by a teenage male and adored his owner's teenage son.

Congratulations to Tamara and Orlando on obtaining their Scent Work Advanced title. I think Orlando should get an award for being such a handsome boy!
