This Christian youth camp and retreat has been operating since 1978 on 390 beautiful acres of land in the state of Washington. Royal Rides is nestled in the stunning and magnificent Cascade Mountain Range. This non-profit ministry is designed to offer non-denominational programs in teaching, design and scope. We offer summer camps for first grade to twelfth grade aged youth, and there are also yea

r round programs available. Retreats are available September through June and are great for groups and organizations. The facility also has other activites which include a Challenge Course with high and low elements and a 38 ft climbing Wall; Paintball, both woodsball and speedball; a small lake for canoes and paddle boats; plus other outdoor activities.

Wow, what an amazing day getting camp prepped and ready for summer!

We want to extend a huge thank you to Vancouver Church and all the incredible volunteers who came out for their annual work day. This marks five years of faithful support, and we are so grateful for the willing hearts and helping hands that continue to invest in our camp ministry.

Thanks to their hard work, we were able to accomplish several much-needed projects, including cleaning our buses inside and out, building new amphitheater seating for Horse Camp, replacing the stage at one of our lower camp amphitheaters, and tackling property cleanup after the long winter months.

Many hands truly do make light work, and because of this amazing team, we're one step closer to welcoming campers for an unforgettable summer.

Summer Camp starts in less than a month, and we couldn't be more excited!

We know these final few weeks of the school year can feel chaotic for both parents and kids. Between tests, projects, and schedule changes, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.

As we prepare the grounds for Summer 2026, our staff is actively praying for your families. Our ultimate goal for this summer isn't just to provide fun activities, but to create a space where your camper can pause, breathe, and experience the peace of God's creation.

From devotions to quiet moments on the trail, we are excited to help campers plant deep roots in their faith this year. 🙏

We are spending these final days of May putting the finishing touches on the property, organizing the gear, and praying over the summer ahead. The Gaga Ball pit is waiting, the horses are ready, and our staff cannot wait to meet you.

Looking for a hands-on way for your child to connect with horses? Join us for our Saturday Trail Camp on May 23rd! Campers will enjoy riding on two of our scenic trails, dive into horse science, and spend the day exploring with our incredible four-legged partners.
