Got sweet little adorable SPOON back into foster care with his original foster home Katie Rogers.

SPOON came to us a couple of weeks ago when we got a phone call from joint Animal Services telling us that a dog that was microchipped to us had been brought in. We were really sad to find out that SPOONS person passed away and the people that she had interested to care for her dogs after her passing, changed their minds.

All 3 of her sweet babies ended up with us and we are slowly but surely finding them adoptive homes as seniors. We're not quite sure of their age although we know that SPOON is probably at least 10 or 12. He is a survivor of the Napavine fire we rescued dogs from.several years ago and it's thanks to us keeping our name on the microchip as the primary person forever that he was returned to us. Microchips save lives when used responsibly and we are always going to ensure that Valhalla rescue dogs are never becomes a shelter statistic.

I took SPOON up to his person yesterday and we are so happy to see that he has settled in so quickly.
We do have an appointment set up for him for the middle of November just to make sure that his vaccines are current and that any health conditions that he might have that will be chronic are known about for his new adopters.

He does have an upcoming meet and greet for adoption so keep your paws crossed that it all works out well for him.

Where are our senior Doxie lovers. Bart could really use a foster home to give him some love while we find his forever home.

Sadly Bart's mom passed away earlier this month and him and his first siblings ended up in the shelter. Since his wonderful person was a previous adopter of ours we came in to help the dogs when no one else in the family wanted them.

Bart was her oldest senior and he takes medication for seizures that are well controlled. We would love to find him a foster home that could give him the love and attention that he's so much deserves.

Adoptive homes are also welcome to contact us.

Lets get Bart out of rescue and into his retirement home. He's easy to care for, loves walks and knows how to use the doggie door to go in and out.

HERE IT IS!!!! STEVIE'S DNA.

There was a couple of them I definitely didn't expect and a couple of them I figured were in there. I reluctantly accepted that she probably had some poodle in her, :-) ;-) but now I know why she is so much bigger than Gin Gin or any other poodle.

Also, stay tuned and follow our page. I have found out some more history about Stevie and may have located at least one other sibling. Also, 2 others that were adopted out from the shelter earlier this spring. But I will give credit to my veterinarian he guessed that she was 8 months old and she is. This puppy has a lot of growing to do.

Pebbles is starting her new career as a supermodel. Check out that hair toss! She is still looking for her forever home. She will be very happy to help supplement your income with her modeling career 🤣🤣

Visit our website at Valhallarescue.org and submit an online application so you too can take this beautiful girl home. She does great with dogs not so much with cats so cat free home would be the best for her. She's good with god savvy kids and definitely will be the center of attention in any home.

Stevie had her 1st actual visit to Bark n’ Bath this week. It's hard to believe that last month this dog was running wild in the town refusing to come to anybody. It hasn't taken her long to realize that she is safe in a home with people that love her. Her space surgery is scheduled for next month until then we're going to keep on exposing her to new people and new things. COLLEEN is the best and I can't tell you how much we appreciate the time she takes to make every Valhalla Rescue dog feel special loved and protected.

All his vaccines are updated and he's got a good bill of health. Felix is still looking for that forever home. He young and full of love.
He's great with other dogs and would definitely appreciate a home where he could have a companion to play with. He's good for the groomer and his foster home has given him such a good start. If you are looking for a wonderful energetic companion to spend your evening's watching Netflix or weekends playing in the mud, Felix will always be there to do that you.
