And today, while the rain falls, Doja doesn’t care. Because for a little while, she gets to be outside her kennel, breathe the fresh air, sniff the world, and simply be a dog. No rush. No noise. Just a little peace.

Imagine waiting 732 days for a place to call home. Imagine how much love you have to give, and no one has come to take you home yet. Doja is still waiting. Still hoping. Still ready for her chance.

At 3.5 years old, this sweet, playful girl has so much love waiting to blossom. 🌷 She may need a little extra time to feel safe in new situations, but when she trusts you, you get to see the beautiful, loving personality underneath. She loves toys, enjoys walks on leash, and already knows how to sit!

Doja needs a patient, experienced adopter who understands that trust takes time. A calm home with teens, gentle introductions, and someone willing to let her blossom at her own pace could change her entire world. ❤️

She doesn’t need a perfect home. She needs HER person. Someone who will see beyond the days she’s spent waiting and recognize the incredible dog she’s always been.

Does Roxie still believe her family is coming?
After 678 days in a shelter, we hope she does.

Roxie has spent almost two years waiting for the life she deserves. She was surrendered when her family’s lifestyle changed, and since then, this sweet 5-year-young Terrier mix has been waiting for someone to see her, choose her, and give her a forever home.

She is playful. She is affectionate. She loves toys, cuddles, people, and sniff-filled walks. She may be a little shy when meeting someone new, but give her time and patience, and she will show you just how loving she can be. Roxie walks well on lead and would do best as the only dog in a home with teens.

678 days is far too long for any dog to wait. We don’t want her to lose hope that her person is out there.

547 days. That’s how long Storm has been waiting for a home of her own. 💔

On her 5th birthday, her shelter friends made sure she knew she was loved. They threw her a birthday party with toys, treats, and a cake. 🎂🐾

But as happy as we were to celebrate her, there was one thing missing…

A home.

Storm came to the shelter as an owner surrender after she and the other dog in her home were not getting along. Her family chose to surrender her, and now, 547 days later, she is still waiting for someone to choose her.

Storm can be cautious when meeting new people and needs patience, consistency, and a calm environment to build trust. Once she feels comfortable, she shows her affectionate side and loves relaxing with her favorite people. She knows basic cues like “sit” and “come” and would thrive with someone who understands her needs and is willing to give her the time she deserves.

Storm would do best as the only dog in an adult-only home where she can finally have the stability, routine, and love she’s been waiting for.

She has spent 547 days celebrating birthdays behind shelter doors.

All Storm wants for her 5th birthday is a home.❤️

Today is National Dog Day… but for Roxie, it’s just another day waiting for someone to choose her. 💔🐾

For the 637th day, Roxie is spending this special day at the shelter instead of in the loving home she’s been waiting for.

Her family surrendered her when their lifestyle changed and they decided she no longer fit into their life. But maybe the question isn’t whether Roxie fit into theirs…
