Ponytails Riding center is looking for a new instructor! This instructor would need to be willing to work several days a week (payment to be discussed), and be experienced enough to work with both beginner and intermediate riders in both English and Western disciplines.
If applicable, an interview would be arranged and shadowing our current instructors would be preferred before a teaching schedule is actually arranged. We are looking for people who would be willing to teach afternoons, OR evenings, OR weekends, not necessarily all three.
We are looking for instructors who can mesh with our family friendly environment, can work with kids, teens, and adults, and is safety conscious 😉
Please contact Nikki via text if you are interested 513-429-9081. Thank you 😊

Just a short post for now. We are devastated because this morning we lost Profit. Profit has been with Nikki and Vonnie since he was 3 years old. He has taught hundreds, if not thousands, of children to ride and to love horses by being patient, kind, and gentle. Profit is, bar none, the most incredible horse any of us have ever met. We are grateful we got to be with him for so long, and we are heartbroken to say goodbye.

Cincinnati Animal CARE is deeply disappointed in this week’s ruling in the Muddy Water Equestrian Park horse cruelty case. Given the condition of the animals, Hamilton County Dog Wardens seized 18 animals from the property in August of last year to ensure their safety and well-being.

Based on what was observed, immediate action was taken under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 959, Sections 959.132, and 959.132 (B), out of concern for the welfare of the horses at that time. On March 25, 2026, a Hamilton County court ruled in favor of the defense’s motion to suppress evidence.

We stand by the decision to intervene at that time, acting always in the best interest of the animals. At this time, the fate of the horses is still uncertain, but an appeal has already been filed, and there is a court date set two weeks from now. Together with our equine partner, Fighting Chance Rescue, we will continue working with the Hamilton County Prosecutors Office to pursue any and all legal actions available to us, to seek justice for these horses.

In the meantime, if you would like to support Fighting Chance Rescue (FCR) and the work to care for and advocate for these horses, you can make a donation to FCR at the link below and in the comments. https://cincinnatianimalcare.networkforgood.com/projects/262094-horse-fundraiser?fbclid=IwY2xjawQ1F0pleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFDYmg5d2hjWkZDUHM1VWZzc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHky8K8PhzueOLcbizsa1CEvOGIV0pG0pasJrL_ckeTIN__O4lwYTQ3KDJ8wQ_aem_m7JW18PTFUigQiI3H-9ZoA
