Puppy Family Review

Our "Bundles Of Joy" puppy family reviews are starting to come in. What a blessing it is to have the BEST puppy families who take the time to share their experience with bringing home a KBD puppy.

Reviews are the greatest gift you can give to your breeder. It's something that takes just a few minutes out of your day to complete but truly means that world to your breeder.

Reviews give a realistic view into our program that can only be shared by the families that choose us as their breeder. It's a personal insight into how we raise our puppies and what we provide for our puppy families.

Thank you to every family who has taken the time to leave us a review! Your words are valued and we are grateful for your continued support!

Real Talk Tuesday - Spay/Neuter

We are starting a new series called "Real Talk Tuesday" where we chat about various topics that are sometimes avoided or might be a little controversial. Let's dive into week 1!

This is a hot topic in the breeding world and one that vets vary greatly in their opinions and research. Here at KBD we follow the recommendation of our vets because that is who we have trusted from the very beginning when establishing our program. We do not take into consideration other vets opinions or research. We simply follow our vet's recommendation based on 6 years of top notch care and overflowing knowledge.

Our contract states that all puppies "must be spayed or neutered by 8 months of age." This contract is posted on our website, any potential puppy family checks off they have "read and agree to our contract" on their initial puppy application before any other communication has taken place. Our puppy families then sign the same contract in person on our "Health Guarantee/Contract" on "Go Home Day" stating they agree to all terms including our spay/neuter policy.

To be straight forward, a contract is a contract. It is an agreement between two parties that have both read the fine print and agree to all terms. Failure to uphold the contract voids our health guarantee and the puppy family is to pay for the additional breeding fee for not spaying/neutering by 8 months of age.

Every vet has a different view or opinion. However, our puppy families are to uphold our contract regardless of their vet's opinion. When you choose us as your breeder you are trusting us and how we raise our puppies. You are in agreement with all of our policies and protocols. We are also trusting you to bring home one of our puppies and to to uphold your end of the contract.

Every business/program has the right to establish their own terms. Make sure you ready all the fine print, ask any questions before signing a contract, trust the breeder's advice, and uphold your end of the contract.

Our Keeper Puppy

White Collar Female - Rebound is our keeper puppy from Lavy x Wade's "Buzzer Be**er" litter. Rebound is a traditional black tri colored micro mini multigenerational Bernedoodle.

I'll be honest and share that I had my heart set on keeping back one of our red tuxedo females. You all know I LOVE our red babies! I had a name already picked out and was deciding between Basket and Alley-Oop. However, overtime this sweet little completely stole my heart and became our first pick.

I can't wait to share more about this little beauty! Stay tuned and hold on tight. You are about to fall complelty in love with another KBD baby!

For our breeder friends . . . She is FF, SS, BB, Ee, -\-, genetically clear, and predicted to be between 18-20 pounds at maturity. Yep! She's pretty dreamy!

"Go Home Bags"

If you've been following us for awhile you might have noticed that our "Go Home Bags" now have our newest logo on them. I'm so excited about these!

We've also made some slight changes inside while perfecting our branding with all black folders, puppy blankets that match our white, black, and rust brand colors, black tennis balls, and our new an improved business cards coming soon! Sometimes it's that smallest little details that I love the most!

"Buzzer Be**ers" Litter

Dribble, Dunk, Basket, Alley-Oop, Rebound, Brick, and Swish - Micro Mini Bernedoodles - 7 Weeks Old

Could they be any cuter? I don't think so! I'm OBSESSED with this litter! These babies are built like a brick with their block heads, stout legs, wide frame, and come in the tiniest little package.

Let's chat about vet checks.

Here at KBD our litters are all seen by our vet during week 7 right before "Go Home Day." All of our puppies see either Dr. Rich or Dr. Kim at Four Paws Animal Hospital here in Lebanon, Ohio. They are the two vets that also oversee all of our adult dogs healthcare needs within our program.

Our vets give our puppies a health check from head to toe. They check their eyes, ears, muscle ton, heart, teeth, coat, belly button, private areas, and overall structure of each puppy. They then weigh the puppies, give them their first round of puppy vaccinations, and issue a health certificate.

All of this information is then uploaded into our puppy software and printed our for our puppy families to receive in their "Go Home Folders." We then ask families to share this information with their puppy's vet at their 72 hour wellness check post "Go Home Day."

Pictured is our portable puppy playpen that we take to every litter health check. This pop up playpen ensures our litters are protected while at the vet and limited to unwanted exposures while keeping their four paws off the floor until they are fully vaccinated.

Picture Perfect

Photo Shoot Day is exhausting for little ones. Puppies get a full bath, high velocity blow drying session, nail trim, face time, and then it's their time to shine in front of the camera.

It's a lot of sight, sounds, texture, and smell exposure within a short amount of time. Capturing these moments of pure sweetness is something I will always melt over.

Photographing our puppies isn't just about having "pretty pictures." It's about capturing the moment and showcasing each little one's individual personality.

These little moments in time are my favorite!

The "Bundles Of Joy" Puppy Families

Excited to share our newest KBD puppy families! "Selection Day" was simply perfect! The smiles, laughter, and tears of joy is something that I will never take for granted.

Cozy's puppies now live in Kentucky, Tennessee, and 3 little ones are staying in the state of Ohio.

Our micro mini triplets.

Yellow Collar Female - Swish, White Collar Female - Rebound, and Blue Collar Male - Dunk (pictured left to right) are almost identical in their markings.

I love having little copy and paste puppies within our litters. It might be tricky to visually tell them apart but temperament wise its always clear as day who is who.

This is why I LOVE that our program focuses on temperament over markings. Our goal is to ensure that not only are our puppies a good fit for their new families but that our families are also a good fit for our puppies. The look of the puppy has nothing to do with the compatibility of the puppy with your famliy.

These little triplets might look almost identical but each little one has their own individual personality that is perfect for their forever family.

These babies are just as blocky and fluffy as can be! I'm obsessed with their structure and temperament. These little ones are truly "Bundles Of Joy." They are calm, gentle, have a little bit of s***k, and super affectionate. They love their humans deeply!
