Veterinary Assistant – Join Our Team!
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with both animals and people, works well in a team environment, and is eager to learn and grow within the veterinary field.
As a Veterinary Assistant, you will work closely with our veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities may include assisting with animal handling and restraint, preparing and cleaning treatment areas, caring for hospitalized patients, stocking supplies, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and assisting the veterinary team with daily tasks.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be dependable, punctual, and responsible
* Have a positive and friendly attitude
* Work well as part of a team
* Be comfortable working with animals of various sizes and temperaments
* Have strong communication and organizational skills
* Be willing to learn and take direction
* Be compassionate and attentive to the needs of our patients and clients
* Previous veterinary or animal-care experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
