July 15th is Feline Leukemia Day. Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is one of the most common infectious cat diseases. Ask your veterinarian if your cat has been tested for FeLV and make sure your cat is up to date on the Feline Leukemia vaccine!

June is heating up now and summer is basically here! While you and your pets are out enjoying all this season has to offer, make sure you’re prepared for whatever comes your way with some summer tips.

☀️ Provide plenty of fresh, clean water to your pets as they can dehydrate quickly. Provide a shady place for your pets to go to get out of the sun.
☀️ Watch for signs of heatstroke: excessive panting, trouble breathing, increased heart and respiratory rate, drooling, weakness, collapse, seizures. Keep your pets indoors when it’s extremely hot.
☀️ Supervise your pets around pools, lakes, and other bodies of water. Introduce your pets to water gradually and make sure your pets wear flotation devices.
☀️ NEVER EVER leave your pet in a hot vehicle!!
