Give a warm Hail Mary Rescue welcome to Betty (black) and Birdie (blk&white)
Both girls arrived in Virginia this evening and are available for adoption. Will be in Warrenton but can be moved to Danville easily.
Betty is a 3 yr old 50 pound Lab mix. She is fully vetted and heartworm negative. Has been in a foster home in Louisiana for awhile and has been to multiple adoption events where she enjoys the job of greeter.
She is an easy girl to have around, very clean and loves car rides and swimming.
Birdie is around 2 and 35 pounds speckled mix breed We’ve had quite a few over the years that look like her and all are wonderful dogs. That perfect smedium size. We will update on them as we get them settled into their fosters and cat and kid test as needed.
If interested in either please send a message or an application and their foster will reach out.

We are looking for a special home for Pippa, a long term foster home would be great.
Pippa is a 4 yr old pure bred French Bulldog originally from Poland. She is spayed, vaccinated and on monthly preventative. She weighs around 32 pounds, but is a small dog just a tank.
She has a genetic heart condition like many Frenchies but requires no medication, and has no abnormal lifestyle restrictions beyond the breed’s usual. She has worn off all of her teeth, but has no issue eating dry kibble and she LOVES to chew on hard style toys and bones. She is also an attention loving girl and if she feels she is being ignored her method of getting your attention is to p*e in the house. This is absolutely intentional and once given attention will resume her regular very well housebroken status.
She crates quietly at night and as needed during the day. She is fantastic riding in a car and she is absolutely fantastic when out in public. She has been extremely friendly and social to everyone she has met. She is great with kids, but to keep her from feeling neglected we would like kids to be 10 or up if any in a home.
Her ideal home would be with someone retired that is looking for a fun companion. She doesn’t need a ton of walking and we think could be trained to use potty pads or an indoor bathroom for dogs if desired. She is not a barker and would do fine in an apartment setting.
We would love to of course find her a permanent adopter but if you feel you could be a good fit but worry about the potential medical expenses please reach out, as a long term foster home would be appreciated by us and Pippa.
She is a super fun dog and is honestly absolutely fantastic with a few quirks.
Currently in Warrenton, VA but can be transported.

Our Hail Mary Rescue Ridge, 5 yr old Ridgeback/Lab Mix, is getting the care he needs at Acadiana Spay Neuter vet clinic.
He’s HW positive and will start his treatment of doxies. Once he gains sufficient weight, he will get his immiticide inj’s.

Dr Kera said he’s very well behaved, was good for his bath and goes into his crate very willingly with no barking.

That distinctive Ridgeback wave is very pronounced making for a very unique looking dog.
We are so happy he had a foster offer and that we were able to assist him. ❤️🐾

Ok! Let’s commence Operation Find Farrah a home (again) begin!
Thanks again to everyone that shared her post and offered assistance while she was missing. We want potential adopters to know this was NOT her fault. She had been at the home for 2 1/2 days and ignoring EVERYTHING we are other rescues preach the adopter left her outside, alone, no fence, no tether. Just the great wide world and a scared dog.
While we will never know where Farrah went, but are grateful she did keep her cool and found her way back to the house on her own after 2 days.
This girl is around 3 yrs old and from a hoarding situation where she and many others were not handled and were starving. She has definitely had puppies at a point but is spayed now and fully vaccinated as well as micro chipped. Due to her past neglect she is heartworm positive, the rescue will cover all costs of treatment and there are a few options available we can discuss with adopters.
She is extremely sweet and while shy in new places warms up quickly and has never met a stranger. She is around 20 pounds and a leggy girl.
Good with cats, very neat and has been easy to housebreak.
This is a super nice dog who has been let down by humans enough in her life.
In Warrenton, VA but can be transported.

Farrah has been found and is safe!!!

Edit-

Thanks to everyone that shared her post. I have Farrah back in my truck now and she will be relisted and hopefully find a more responsible home. This was not of her doing and if any local shelters or rescues want the story pm us. This was an absolute nightmare we all dread and due not to an “accident “ but to shear human stupidity and lack of responsibility and obviously ignoring EVERYTHING we and every other dog rescue recommends.
