🐾💙 A LITTLE BARK’N BOULEVARD UPDATE 💙🐾

I wanted to take a minute to explain some of the changes we’ve been making at Bark’n Boulevard!

We have had SO many new clients join us, while also having our wonderful longtime clients who have been with us through all of our changes and growth. 🥹💙 With that growth, it has become harder and harder for me to keep up with everything on my own.

That’s why we now have a receptionist helping me manage the front end of the business and keep everything organized. This is a big step for Bark’n Boulevard, and I’m working on getting better systems in place so that everyone knows what to expect and everything runs as smoothly as possible.

One of those changes is our checkout process:

✨ PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE TIME OF PICKUP ✨

This applies to Zelle, Venmo, and card payments. If someone else is picking up your pet, that’s completely okay! Payment will just need to be completed when your pet is picked up.

This change is not meant to be inconvenient for anyone. It’s simply so we can keep checkout running smoothly and so our receptionist isn’t having to chase down payments after pets have already gone home.

We’ve had a lot of clients adjusting to this change, and I completely understand that changes take some getting used to. ❤️

But as we continue to grow, I have to make changes that allow the business to grow with us. Our facility is only so big, and I want to make the most of the space we have while continuing to improve the experience for our clients, their pets, and our staff.

These changes aren’t about making things difficult—they’re about putting the right systems in place so Bark’n Boulevard can continue to grow without everything falling on one person. 🐾

And one thing I want to make very clear as we continue to grow: we value our clients tremendously, and we will always treat you and your pets with respect and kindness. We simply ask for that same respect in return. Disrespect toward our staff will not be tolerated. 💙

I appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and support while we get everything in check. We are growing, and I’m so excited about what that means for the future of Bark’n Boulevard! 💙🐶

🐾 Important Vaccination & Record Update 🐾

We are updating our system at Bark’n Boulevard to make sure all of our furry clients have the proper vaccination records on file. ❤️

A current rabies vaccination is REQUIRED for all dogs receiving grooming services at our salon.

Our receptionist will send you a message if we don’t have anything on file or if it’s outdated.

For new clients, please send us a copy of your dog’s current rabies certificate before their first appointment.

For existing clients, if we do not currently have an up-to-date rabies certificate on file, we will need you to send us an updated copy before we can groom your dog.

We do send reminders when records are needed, but with our busy schedule, we occasionally miss getting the paperwork before an appointment. Going forward, we are going to be more consistent about verifying records before services are provided.

📌 Please make sure your dog’s rabies vaccination is current and that we have a copy of the certificate on file.

You can send your certificate through our business number (985-414-3161) or provide it before your appointment.

🐾 NEW CLIENT UPDATE 🐾

Bark’n Boulevard is currently FULL for the remainder of 2026! 💙

We will not be accepting new clients for the rest of the year. We anticipate opening our books to new clients in January 2027, as availability allows.

Our priority is taking care of the wonderful clients and pups who already trust us with their grooming needs while continuing to provide the quality, one-on-one care we strive for. 🐶✂️

If you’ve been hoping to become a Bark’n Boulevard client, keep an eye out for an update in January! We’ll let everyone know when we are able to begin accepting new clients.

🐾 Important Pricing Update 🐾

Due to a new Louisiana law that went into effect August 1, 2026, we are making a small adjustment to our pricing.

Our regular service prices will be adjusted by 4%, and clients who choose to pay with cash will receive a 4% cash discount.

💳 Card payments — Standard posted price
💵 Cash payments — 4% discount

This allows us to keep our pricing simple and consistent while complying with Louisiana’s new payment regulations.

🌧️ Weather Update for Our Bark’n Boulevard Family 🌧️

With the approaching storm, the safety of our clients, pets, and staff is our top priority.

Tomorrow and Thursday, we will be waiving all same-day cancellation fees. If the weather in your area becomes unsafe or you don’t feel comfortable driving, please stay home. Your appointment can always be rescheduled—your safety is more important.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, just give us a call or send us a message through our business line or our Facebook Business Page, and we’ll be happy to help.

I would like to give a warm welcome to our newest Stylist Caroline Mire

“Hi everyone!
I’m Caroline Mire, and I am so excited to be joining the team at Bark N Boulevard! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, now more than ever. When I’m not busy turning dogs from fuzzy to fabulous I’m usually doing one thing or another with my personal dogs. I enjoy showing my dogs in conformation and doing some sporting events with them! I now have 5 personal dogs, a sheepadoodle named Cash, a little rescue named Harriet, a Great Dane named Blazer, a lab named Avery and soon I will be bringing home a miniature poodle to show and eventually compete in grooming competitions with! I started grooming when I was around 11 years old and had to get grooming supplies for my very first show dog, an Australian shepherd named Potter, from then on I was hooked! When I graduated high school I moved to Baton Rouge and worked for a place similar to Bark N Boulevard and I learned SO much while having a blast! I moved back to Thibodaux four years ago and opened my own salon but I have missed working alongside other dog fanatics entirely too much so here I am, starting this new journey! I can not wait to meet you all! “
