Record breaking@ drop
41 inches snow. This week has been a challenge for us all. Just after finally clearing from the 22 inches dropped On Jan 22nd🤪 The dogs who camped out a few extra days than expected from Feb school vacation week held up exceptionally well. Our only wish is that they knew how to work a shovel 🤣

Sending our condolences to another of our K9 heros! K9 Jimbo thank you for your service! Respected and Honored always!

The Providence Police Department is saddened to announce the passing of K9 Jimbo, who faithfully served alongside Patrolman Daniel Sirignano since 2015. K9 Jimbo was a dedicated dual-purpose explosive detection and patrol canine assigned to the Uniform Division Patrol Bureau. Throughout his career, Jimbo made a lasting impression on our department and community. His loyalty, dedication, and service will never be forgotten.
