We are thrilled to welcome stylist Hailee to our Harbor Animal Hospital team! She is excited to meet you and your pets and is now accepting new clients. Get to know her by reading her bio below and book now!

Hailee is excited to join the team at Harbor Animal Hospital as a Stylist!

Her love for animals began at a young age. Growing up, she cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and many other pets. In middle school, she decided to attend an agricultural high school so she could pursue her passion for working with animals. Throughout all four years, she focused on a canine major, where she built a strong foundation in pet grooming.

During high school, Hailee learned proper bathing techniques and spent several hours each day developing her skills. That experience led to a position as a bather at a grooming salon, where she continued to expand her knowledge and hands-on experience. Shortly after graduating, she became a full-time pet stylist in Boston. After relocating, she was excited to find her new home here at Harbor Animal Hospital.

Hailee especially enjoys grooming Golden Retrievers for their fun-loving, goofy personalities that always brighten her day. She also loves working with smaller breeds, like Shih Tzus, where she can highlight each pet's unique personality through adorable face trims and customized grooming styles.

Now offering acupuncture!

Acupuncture offers a drug-free option for pain relief, making it a great choice for pets who can't take traditional pain medications. It also promotes relaxation by triggering the release of endorphins, which can naturally help reduce anxiety and discomfort.

For senior pets and those living with chronic conditions, acupuncture may improve mobility and overall quality of life, helping them get back to doing what
they love. This ancient therapy may also benefit pets with arthritis, neurologic and skin conditions, behavioral concerns, and certain types of cancer.

Please keep your pets inside with the upcoming heat wave. Make sure they have access to water and a cool place to rest. Avoid activity during the peak hours.

STORM TEAM 10 WEATHER ALERT: An Extreme Heat Watch is in effect for Wednesday through Friday across all of Rhode Island (except Block Island) and Bristol County, Massachusetts. The combination of temperatures near 100 and the dew point in the 70s (tropical humidity) will make it feel like it's close to 110 degrees for a heat index. This is dangerous heat, about as bad as it gets in Southern New England. Prepare to seek the air conditioning, limit strenuous activity, stay hydrated, keep pets cool, and check on elderly neighbors to make sure they're staying cool.
