I couldn’t be prouder of Dr. Gomaa after seeing his latest cameo on the nightly news, where he covered the topic of pet allergies. As always, he delivered expert information with a perfect balance of intelligence, compassion, and clarity — just one of the many reasons he is so highly respected by everyone who knows him.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with so many incredible veterinarians, both personally and professionally — whether through our own dogs or through the many treasured clients whose practices span New England, New York, and New Jersey. Each one has been an exceptional doctor and an even better person. Among them, Dr. Gomaa stands out as one of the smartest, sweetest, and kindest veterinarians I’ve ever had the honor of working with. For over twenty years, I’ve had the privilege of knowing and collaborating with both him and his father — two generations of extraordinary dedication to animal health and well-being. Their unwavering commitment to excellence and their genuine love for their patients have left a lasting impact on countless families, including my own.
Dr. Gomaa’s commitment to innovation and advancement in veterinary medicine is truly remarkable. He continually goes far beyond routine care, exploring cutting-edge treatments such as testosterone therapy, stem cell therapy, and advanced regenerative medicine. Recently, he earned certification in orthopedics and launched a sister company specializing in orthopedic and regenerative services. Never one to slow down, he also completed additional coursework just a few months ago, further expanding his expertise in both orthopedics and ophthalmology. His relentless pursuit of knowledge and his dedication to offering the very best for his patients is nothing short of inspiring.
I’m also thrilled to announce that Dr. Gomaa and I are currently working together on a project very close to our hearts: a new book titled The Cavalier Composition. This thoughtful, comprehensive guide to Cavalier King Charles Spaniel health will cover everything from genetics to day-to-day care, and we are aiming to release it within the next year.
And that’s not all! As a companion to the book, we’re also working on an exciting sister project that will bring The Cavalier Composition to life — something we’re sure Cavalier owners and Cavalier lovers everywhere will adore.
