It's officially the 1st day of Octopurr! Please help us care for all the purrfect kitties at Acadiana Humane Society by donating to help provide vet care, cat food, litter, and supplies. Please share! Please donate if you can. If everyone who sees this post can donate even just $5 we could get caught up on vet bills, provide additional necessary veterinarian care, and buy cat food, litter & supplies! We can not continue to save lives without the support of our followers and others in the community. Let's provide good treats and proper care for these rescue cats, many of which are special needs kitties! Thank you! http://acadianahumane.org/catblogger/donate

Happy Labor Day from the volunteers of Acadiana Humane Society! Yesterday volunteers spent all morning and all evening doing Food Rescue! Picking up short dated food and other donated items for our AHS Food Bank. Surplus food donations were shared with Feeding Others: Outreach & Distribution / FOOD Acadiana to help stock all of the area Community Fridges! We are very grateful for both our anonymous donors, and for our volunteers! We're also thankful for the teamwork with volunteers from other organizations to help provide free food and supplies to those who need it! Our volunteers are all taking a much deserved day off today!
