We can't let Veterinary Practice Managers Appreciation Week pass without taking a moment to celebrate Susan, our Certified Veterinary Practice Manager. Susan was recognized as the Paraprofessional of the Year by the Texas Veterinary Medical Association for her outstanding contributions to veterinary medicine. This is the first time a CVPM has earned this recognition and we couldn't be more proud! 🎉🎉Check out the article in the comments! 🎉🎉

Practice Managers are the "jack of all trades" at the veterinary hospital. They're responsible for human resources, payroll, client service, facility maintenance, bookkeeping, and so much more! Susan works hard so Dr. Driever, Dr. Kurdziel and Dr. Lindsey can focus on taking care of your pets. She and Dr. D joke that she doesn't mess with the pets and he doesn't mess with the people, and everything gets taken care of in the end! Let's hear it for Susan!

Bethany is one of our amazing licensed veterinary technicians! She is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and serves on the LVT & Paraprofessional Committee, as well as being a volunteer editor of the Certified Veterinary Assistant training materials for TVMA. Let's give Bethany some cheers for being a phenomenal LVT caring for your pets as well as for her desire to give back to the veterinary profession! Well done, Bethany!

Volunteerism in the veterinary community is something that our team is passionate about. Dr. Driever has volunteered on the board of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 2020 and just wrapped up his year as President of the Board of Directors. He'll serve one more year as Past President before ending his service to the Board. We'd be lying if we didn't admit we're all glad his travel schedule will be lighter in 2026!

AAHA's standards of care help our hospital in every aspect of the client and patient experience, and Dr. Driever believes so passionately in AAHA's purpose of simplifing the journey to veterinary excellence that he volunteers his time and talents to ensure the association continues to grow and evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of pets and the people who love them.
