The James River Hunt Horse Show 🦊🌳is always a fun week for our group! It’s always nice being able to show at a “classic” Virginia horse show. Thank you to everyone who helped put on the show, and to all the sponsors as well!
Highlights from the week include:
🦊Elizabeth Smith’s ‘Stargold Balou’ finished Champion in the 3’3” Greens with Sam, and also was Grand Green Hunter Champion! ‘Mowgli’ also finished Reserve Champion with Logan in the Large 3’3” Junior Hunters!
🦊Layla Hentnik & her ‘Duvel’ finished Champion in the Large Junior Hunters with multiple class wins!
🦊Sam & Madelyn Meacham’s ‘Content’ finished Reserve Champion in the 3’3” Performance with multiple class wins!
🦊Elizabeth Smith’s ‘Stellar’ finished Reserve Champion in the 3’ Greens with Sam & was also Champion with Logan Smith in the 14 & Under Children’s!
🦊Grace Littreal & her ‘Epic’s La Mia’ finished Reserve Champion in the Small 3’3” Junior Hunters!
🦊Sam & Brittany’s ‘Jack Flash’ finished Champion in the Local Professional Hunters! Brittany & Jack also made their show debut finished 🥉 🥉 & 4th in a huge group of Low Adults!
🦊Logan Smith & her ‘Paradise City’ won 🥇 the Hamel Medal & also had other top placings in the THIS Medal and WEC Cup! Sam also was a class winner 🥇 in the Performance Hunters with Franklin as well!
🦊Jenn Sabella & her ‘Umiliano Van Orshof’ were class winners 🥇in a huge group of James River Hunters, and had other top placings!
🦊Lauren Delalla’s ‘Simply Sensational EA’ & Sam had multiple class wins in the 3’3” Greens 🥇🥇
🦊Paige Bartosh & her ‘Coolest Choice’ won top ribbons including a 🥈out of 30+ horses in the Non-Restricted Jr/Am and had a nice round in the derby finishing just outside of the top 12!
