🌶️Our group had a successful 2 weeks in Culpeper for their August shows! Thank you to everyone at HITS for a great summer, we are going to miss you guys! Highlights from the weeks include:

🌶️Elizabeth Smith’s ‘Stargold Balou’ finished 🥈Week 2 in the $2,500 USHJA National Hunter Derby w/ the highest Handy round score of 9️⃣1️⃣! He was also Champion 🏆 Week 1 in the 3’3” Greens & tied for Reserve the 2nd week!

🌶️‘Coolest Choice’ & Sam finished 🏆Champion in the 3’ USHJA Hunters winning every class! Paige & Cato also tied for 🏆Reserve Champion in the 18-35 Adults the second week!

🌶️Evynn Morelli & ‘Orchard Hills Dipped In Gold’ finished 🥇 in the Bit O’ Straw Derby w/ double 8️⃣6️⃣’s the first week! They also were 🏆Reserve Champion in the Regular Ponies the first week, & tied for Reserve Champion the second week as well! Thank you to Grace for your help w/ Bandit!

🌶️’Cortina’ made her Regular Pony debut in the U.S. finishing 🏆 Champion in the division! She was also 🥈in her first derby having a Handy score of 8️⃣8️⃣!

🌶️Allrsfarm ‘High Country’ was Champion 🏆both weeks in the 3’ Greens! He also showed w/ Grace Littreal & earned 🥇and other ribbons in the Low Childrens!

🌶️Bayshore Capital’s ‘Korlando’ & Jenn had nice trips in the USHJA 2’9” & Training Hunter placing in every class, & w/ top 3 placings!

🌶️Layla Hentnik & her ‘Duvel’ finished Reserve Champion in the 3’3” Juniors the first week w/ multiple top 3 placings! 🥇🥈

🌶️Rivoli Ventures’ ‘Simply Sensational EA’ had multiple top 3 placings w/ Sam the first week 🥈🥈🥈 & made his Derby Debut finishing 6th w/ an unfortunate rail!

🌶️Brittany Davis & her ‘TW McCormick’ made their show ring debut, & finished Reserve Champion week 2, in the Low Adults & 🥈 in the Classic!

🌶️Jenn Sabella & her ‘Umiliano Van Orshof’ finished Reserve Champion in the USHJA 2’9” Week 1!

🌶️Sam also had the ride on River Run Farms’ ‘Call Me Blue’ & finished Champion in the USHJA 2’9” the second week! Thank you to Phoebe for the ride, & Steve for all the help!

Thank you to everyone for all their hard work the 2 weeks. We are so grateful for everyone at the show, & at home for keeping everything going!

We made a quick trip to Tryon for their Summer 6 show, that proved to be very successful 🌟

🌟Evynn Morelli brought her 3 ponies, and took home 3 Champions 🏆🏆🏆!
•Orchard Hills Dipped in Gold finished Champion in the Large Pony Hunter division, and 🥈in the Pony Hunter Classic with a first round score of 8️⃣6️⃣!
•Cortina finished Champion in the Small/Medium Children’s Pony division winning 4/5 classes and took home the win 🥇 in the Children’s Pony Challenge class with an 8️⃣8️⃣!
•Smallwood Emma finished Champion in the Green Pony division!

Haley Price & her ‘Clueso 30’ got one more show in before she leaves for college and had ribbons in a huge Low Adult Hunter division, and finished 🥉 in the Low Adult Challenge Class with an 8️⃣3️⃣.5️⃣!

✨Truly a magical week at the 2026 USEF Pony Finals✨

🏆Evynn Morelli & her ‘Smallwood Emma’ finish Reserve Champion in the Green Medium Ponies! 🏆

🏆They also finished Champion in the Virginia Pony Breeders Association Virginia Bred Pony standings as well!

🏆Evynn was also the leading Owner/Rider in the Green Medium Ponies!

🏆They finished 🥈in the Over fences portion (with a high score of 8️⃣8️⃣.3️⃣4️⃣) 7th in the Model portion, and 10th in the Under Saddle portion never scoring lower than an 83!

Evynn & Emma have come so unbelievably far in the past 18 months, and to earn this title is such a testament to what hard work, patience, and listening to the horse (or pony 🦄) really does. We are so, so proud of these two and look forward to the rest of the show year!

As always thank you to everyone who has helped us get to this point: Melvin, Denis, Jenn, Agita, Dr. Kristen Darragh, Steven Hensley, just to name a few. And also congratulations to her breeders, Phyllis Jones & Robin Mellen!

🌶️Our group had a great week in Culpeper for the Cavalier Classic! After seeing the weather for the first week, we made the decision to stay home, so only one week with our HITS friends. Highlights include:

🌶️Elizabeth Smith’s ‘Stargold Balou’ finished 🥇in the $2,500 USHJA National Hunter Derby w/ the highest Handy round score of 8️⃣9️⃣! He also moved up to the 3’6” in the Green Hunters winning the Incentive w/ an 86, & finished Reserve w/ multiple class wins!

🌶️‘Coolest Choice’ & Sam finished 🏆Champion in the 3’/3’3” Young Hunters! Paige & Cato also finished 🏆Reserve Champion in the 18-35 Adults w/ multiple class wins 🥇🥇🥇

🌶️Evynn Morelli & ‘Orchard Hills Dipped In Gold’ finished 10th in their first Derby together! They also moved up to the Regular Larges w/ a 🥇& other top 3 placings!

🌶️’Cortina’ made her horse show debut in the U.S. finishing 🏆Reserve Champion in the Small/Medium Children’s Pony division w/ Evynn & 🥈in the Classic!

🌶️Evynn & ‘Smallwood Emma’ were 🥉in the $750 Bit O’ Straw Derby! They also finished 🏆Champion in the Green Pony w/ multiple class wins!

🌶️Haley Price & ‘Clueso 30’ made their return to the show ring & had great trips in the Low Adults to finish top 8 in multiple classes including a 🥉out of a great group!

🌶️Layla Hentnik & ‘Duvel’ had nice rounds in the 3’3” Juniors including a 🥈! Jenn & Crafty also had top 3 placings in the 3’3” Performance!
