🐴 HELP WANTED — PART-TIME BARN STAFF
SunFire Equestrian | Suffolk, VA

SunFire Equestrian is growing, and we’re looking to add one or two reliable, hardworking people to our barn team.

This is a hands-on barn position and may include:

• Cleaning and bedding stalls
• Hay and water
• Feeding and preparing/soaking feed
• Bringing horses in and turning horses out
• Cleaning buckets, troughs, feed pans and barn areas
• Sweeping/blowing aisleways
• Helping keep the barn clean, organized, and client-ready
• General horse and barn care

Horse experience is preferred, but reliability, common sense, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are just as important to us.

We are looking for people who understand that horses are individuals and their needs can change from day to day. We need team members who notice things, communicate when something doesn’t look right, and take pride in leaving the barn better than they found it.

We have morning and evening shifts available, including weekend opportunities. Shifts are paid at a flat rate based on the shift and responsibilities.

Perks

🐴 Discounted lessons and bonus ride opportunities
🏡 Shared housing may be available for the perfect candidate
🔥 Opportunity to become part of a growing equestrian program and team

This could be a great fit for an experienced horse person, college student, working student, or someone who simply loves barn life and wants consistent part-time work in a supportive program.
