Pet Health Center

Pet Health Center Our mission is to provide exceptional, modern veterinary medicine and to develop long-lasting relationships with owners and their pets.

We believe the best way to accomplish this is with a thorough approach to medical care and customer service. Since our patients can’t speak, a carefully performed physical exam is critical to good preventative, medical, and surgical care. Collaboration with owners is foundational to our approach which is why we discuss our physical exams as they are being done so you know what we are looking for a

nd any abnormalities present. We apply this process to all aspects of our practice so owners have all the information, recommendations, and options to make the best healthcare choices for their pets. We take our fiduciary responsibility seriously because earning and maintaining your trust is critical to our business. We would love the opportunity to earn your trust!

That’s why we’re excited to offer advanced options like Bravecto Quantum and ProHeart—providing long-lasting protection with the convenience of just one injection that lasts up to 12 months.

These innovative treatments help protect your dog from harmful parasites like fleas, ticks, and heartworms without the hassle of remembering monthly doses. That means fewer missed treatments, easier prevention, and more peace of mind knowing your pet is protected year-round.

With simple, reliable coverage, you can spend less time worrying about prevention schedules and more time enjoying life with your furry family member.

April is Heartworm Awareness Month 🐾❤️

At Pet Health Center, we believe prevention starts with understanding. Heartworm disease is a serious (and potentially life-threatening) condition caused by parasites that are transmitted through mosquito bites.

Once inside your pet’s body, these microscopic larvae travel through the bloodstream and mature into worms that settle in the heart and lungs. Over time, this can lead to lung disease, damage to the heart, and reduced quality of life.

Some pets may not show symptoms right away, but as the disease progresses, you might notice coughing, low energy, decreased appetite, or weight loss. By the time signs appear, the disease can already be advanced.

While treatment is available for dogs, it can be lengthy and requires careful monitoring. For cats, options are extremely limited—making prevention the safest and most effective choice.

Year-round heartworm prevention and routine testing are key to keeping your pet protected. If you’re unsure where your pet stands, our team at Pet Health Center is here to guide you.

Protect their heart. Protect their life. 💙🐶🐱

Happy Veterinary Receptionist Week (April 19–25)! 🐾💙

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible team members who keep everything running smoothly at the front desk. From the first phone call to every warm welcome at check-in, our veterinary receptionists are the friendly faces and calming voices that make a difference every single day.

They multitask like pros—scheduling appointments, answering questions, comforting anxious pet parents, and helping ensure every visit is as smooth as possible. Their compassion, patience, and dedication never go unnoticed, and our clinic wouldn’t be the same without them.

They’re not just receptionists—they’re problem solvers, pet advocates, and an essential part of your pet’s care team. 🐶🐱

Join us in showing appreciation for all that they do this week! A kind word or smile can go a long way. 💙

Myth: If your pet seems fine, they must be healthy.
Fact: Pets are experts at hiding illness—by the time symptoms show, problems can already be advanced.

Regular check-ups help catch issues early, when they’re easier (and often less costly) to treat. 🐾

Don’t wait for signs—schedule their wellness exam and keep them feeling their best!
