What's hiding beneath your pet's smile? Here's what was hiding beneath Rosie's!

She had some pretty gnarly molars that needed to be pulled - if you can't tell, the roots are pretty much non-existent on the two shown in these photos. On top of that, she had a hole in one of them that had blood pooling out of once the tartar was removed. All I can say is this girl's mouth feels 10x better than it did before she came in!

Dental x-rays allow your vet to detect the following things:
🦷Broken tooth roots
🦷Abscesses & infections
🦷Bone loss from periodontal disease
🦷Resorptive lesions (ESPECIALLY common & very painful in cats!)
🦷Tumors, cysts, or other abnormalities

Without dental radiographs, these issues can easily go unnoticed, leaving pets to silently live with chronic pain. If you have ever had dental pain... then you know just how bad it can be!

Client Story Time! 📖🎙️

We have a client who has been coming to us for a while now with her gang of animals! An animal lover & owner of both dogs & cats, she has a unique story with 2 of her beloved pups - Loretta & Baby Brownie. Here's just a little background on these two!

Ms. Loretta gave birth to a litter. She had 6 oversized puppies in her belly (peep her looking at her x-ray with the babies!). Baby Brownie was the first girl in that litter of 6. They all were being cared for by Dr. Campbell in Sherwood, AR, where the owner is from. She told them she would take Loretta after the puppies were born. All the puppies were bound to be with techs from his office but unfortunately, one had to back out. They named her after her dog that had to be put down, & Dr. Campell & his staff helped the owner through. She took Baby Brownie as well, so she went home with momma & one of her babies! These pictures are from that story. She added a personal note to the message: "Thank you all for being a part of our continuing story. You are truly appreciated.♥️"

We are so lucky to not only have clients like her, but to be a small chapter in a big book of their lives. We hope you all enjoy this story & these pictures as much as we did!

At just 5 weeks old, Butterscotch has decided he is not a kitten... he is a parrot. Honestly, not a bad vantage point to supervise the activities going on right in front of him! As you can see, he already has his mom wrapped around his paw.

We can't wait to watch him grow & see what his personality becomes!

Y'all might remember Mr. Reagan from a post about a month ago! He gained a whopping 12 # since his last visit & has gotten so much taller. He still has his piranha teeth (of course) & was even MORE excited at this visit.
He also has an obsession with our beef liver treats now. 🐾

HOWARD, the 170 pound goofball king. 🐾👑

This big boy came in for his annual exam & vaccines & passed with flying colors. We sure do love our gentle giants, even when they're as big as us (or compared to a couple of us.... bigger!)

🌟 Cosmo 🌟

This little guy is simply out of this world! 🌎 Only a mere 6 weeks old & is about the same size as the stapler up at the front desk (& yes, we had to do a stapler for size reference because he was just a tiny little bean with big ol eyes). Gabby & Nancy up front seriously could not get enough of him - it was like playing hot potato, passing the baby back & forth, starstruck by how little he was. We can tell his owner loves him so very much!

We're so glad we get to establish a relationship with this little guy & watch him grow!

Meet Reagan! 🐾🐶 Puppy wellness visits are our favorite kind of visits. Especially when they're so happy to be here & get all the attention from us!

Mr. Reagan came for his 2nd to last set of vaccines today, which today's visit consisted of the DHLPP vaccine (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) & the Bordetella vaccine (bordetella bronchiseptica: bacteria commonly associated with respiratory disease, also known as kennel cough).

He will come back to see us in a few weeks for his final set of vaccines! 💉🩺 After this visit, he will be ready to rock 'n' roll for the rest of the world to experience his chaotic puppyhood he brings with him, wherever he goes!
