Originally from Bowling Green, Missouri, Dr. Eakins earned her bachelors in Animal Science with a minor in Companion Animal Science from Missouri State University in 2020. Then continued her education at Mizzou College of Veterinary Medicine and earned her doctorate in 2026!

When shes not caring for pets she loves to crochet and spend time with her husband(who is a veterinary student!), pet pigeon, bunny, and turtle.
