Today we are celebrating two of our leaders of the practice. The ways they aid in the practice’s flow whether it be guiding team members to resolutions, helping clients make educated decisions, or providing love and support to a pet while they are here, they are a major part of what makes our clinic what it is.

Shelbi, our practice manager, can be seen all around the clinic. She works behind the scenes making sure the clinic and its staff have everything they need to keep things running smoothly and efficiently. She jumps in to provide technical duties when needed, or recovers a pet from a surgical procedure by cuddling them in her office. Her passion to provide excellent customer service is always at play daily and you will frequently see her up front catching up with a client.

Dr. Meagan, our medical director, is most often seen caring directly for your pets or providing their owners with vital information about their pet during their visit. However, the behind the scenes work she does to help our clinic continue advancing in how medical procedures are done, or improving protocols what we currently have in place help our clinic grow with the times. She educates team members and encourages them to add new tools to their belt when it comes to patient care.

We are so grateful to have them here to support us daily.

Happy Boss’s day!

It’s beginning to look and feel like fall out there 🍂🍁

JJ’s favorite thing about this time of year is finding the best spots to snuggle. Today’s spot- the fall blanket perched on the back of the couch overlooking the yard (keeping one eye on the squirrels of course!)

What’s your pets favorite thing about the fall season? 🏈🎃🥧

Our Pet in the Spotlight for the month of September is Basil! Or Meatball as his mom calls him.

Basil is a 5 month little guy who started seeing us when he was just a couple months old. He has been so brave at all of his appointments and quickly became a fan favorite.

He likes to sit like a human in chairs and fall asleep!! He is so sweet and we love him so much!

Today is World Rabies Day. Prevention in the spread of this deadly viral disease relies on the help of individuals and their communities as well as education by veterinary professionals.

Here is an article with some great information regarding this disease and what it has been like in recent years.

September 28 marks the 20th annual World Rabies Day. This year’s theme is "Stronger Together," highlighting that rabies elimination is only possible when everyone works together, according to World Rabies Day coordinator Global Alliance for Rabies Control.
